This past Thursday we saw a movie poster of a very shirtless Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black from the new movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon that was initially believed to be an official movie poster. It turns out that the poster was merely a fan creation (of Taylor Lautner‘s head on a Brazilian models shirtless body). Today, we finally get to see the movie poster featuring Jacob Black purported to be the official poster … along with purported new posters for both Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as well. First up, here is Jacob‘s new poster:
While this photo is still very cool, I think it would have much more appeal if it featured Jacob after his haircut and without his shirt (ie. they should’ve emulated the fan made poster). Tho, on the other hand, I can appreciate how the New Moon folks might not want to be giving it all away so soon. Hopefully we’ll get a different more half-nekkid poster later on down the line. UPDATE: Since a few folks seem to doubt the realness of these posters, I’ve amended the tone of the post to make it more questioning. If these really are fakes, they’re not nearly as good as the last fake we got.

Hahahahahaha. Fakes. BUT, I do love the Bella/Edward posters. They are very nice and symbolic. Whoever photoshopped Jacobs did not do him justice. The shirtless one was MUCH more believable.

Well, i absolutely love twilight as well as everyone else. But i just cant see these being real? theres nothing to do with new moon that is emulated in these posters. and wtf is up with the stars? i’m skeptical. i guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Well, for all you ladies and girls out there that just want to see flesh. I would love to buy a poster for my nine year old without the nipples. I love how they are keeping it decent for now. We are both fans of Twilight and it’s nice to see that theres something for both of us to buy together. I think they are great looking poster. All of them.
