‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Possibly Releases Posters For Jacob, Bella & Edward
The real deals?

This past Thursday we saw a movie poster of a very shirtless Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black from the new movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon that was initially believed to be an official movie poster. It turns out that the poster was merely a fan creation (of Taylor Lautner‘s head on a Brazilian models shirtless body). Today, we finally get to see the movie poster featuring Jacob Black purported to be the official poster … along with purported new posters for both Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as well. First up, here is Jacob‘s new poster:

While this photo is still very cool, I think it would have much more appeal if it featured Jacob after his haircut and without his shirt (ie. they should’ve emulated the fan made poster). Tho, on the other hand, I can appreciate how the New Moon folks might not want to be giving it all away so soon. Hopefully we’ll get a different more half-nekkid poster later on down the line. After the jump, check out the new movie posters for Bella and Edward

Here is Bella Swan:

Here is Edward Cullen:

Ooh, they both look so gothy! I love it. As much as I like little Jacob, I think I prefer Edward‘s poster to his. Which one do YOU like best?

UPDATE: Since a few folks seem to doubt the realness of these posters, I’ve amended the tone of the post to make it more questioning. If these really are fakes, they’re not nearly as good as the last fake we got.

  3. Samantha says:

These are obviously fakes, they have been made by a fan and they are up on a fan website. If they were real I would fire that graphic designer and scratch these terrible movie posters.

  4. Stephie says:

Ewww, Jacob’s hair looks so gross. At first I actually thought he was wearing a hoodie and then I realized that was his hair, I can’t wait to see the pics where his hair is shorter. But I hope these are fake posters, what’s up with the pink stars?

  5. Shelby Anne says:

Stephie, I too took it at first as a hoodie. But then I realized it was his “hair”….And quickly hugged my toilet…

  6. aimie says:

i don’t think they are real. would they really have edward in the same pea coat on this poster? of the 3 i think bella looks the best… but they all have me feeling a little disappointed if they are real. i have seen lots of fan made posters that are a hella better

  7. Heather says:

Unfortunately, since reading that LJ post, I know they’re fake, BUT the Bella one is super pretty. I hope the official posters look like this Bella one and that sexy one of Jacob. Oh and I hope Edward doesn’t look so “stone” like. We get it, hes hard(lullz), stop making him look stupid.

  8. Jaime says:

it might be fake. might though. coz like the edward photo was from twilight and the bella photo is from entertainment weekly….but idk i like those posters :)

  9. Delaney says:

these are FAKESS . for one thingg, the picture of edward was used for the twilight poster and bellas was from a photosho0t . and secondly whats upp with the stupid starss ?! . they would not put starss on the offical posterss, what has stars got to do with the bo0ks or the moviee ?
the pictures are go0d bt the posters all in all or ugly, im sorry, dnt like thm at all .

I had to do a double take with Jacob’s poster. He looks like he’s wearing a hoodie sweat shirt or something. I like Edwards sooooooo much better!

  11. Janet says:

It would be pretty disappointing if these are the real posters. I thought Edward looked terrible in all of the Twilight promo materials…with any luck he will look better for New Moon. So if that poster is the real deal, I can see they haven’t made any improvements over Twilight…

  12. kmg says:

Even if they aren’t real I like the Bella and Edward posters. Showing only halfs of them symbolizes what they are in the book, only halfs of themselves until they are reunited.

  13. kmg says:

and as soon as I remember elementary grammar…that should say halves not halfs. lol

  14. Mregz says:

    LAME
if this is real, international graphics have seriously gone down the pan.

  15. Amy says:

Ok The fact that these are even CONSIDERED to be “offical” is beyond me. The Stars are a DEAD give away!! Who honesltly thinks the production company would use such tacky stars….???? I saw these posters, without the stars like a week ago. They are good, the concept is good. The stars added to them its kinda obvious a 12 year old photo shopped another persons fanmade poster….The next offical release shot we will get if ANY will be the Volturi. Jake/Bella/Edward not until like a month or 2 away from the release

  16. Rob says:

Lol, Amy you tool, Trent adds the stars to tons of images on the site. They’re not on the actual image.

Irregardless, these are obv photo manips, not real promo’s.

  17. kaitlen says:

LMAO, so Treat you’re growing younger? well you always look younger and younger in your pics what’s your secret?

  18. Colleen says:

These are all FAN MADE posters for the film. Official ones have not been released yet, except for the wolf pack, minus Jacob. They have recently shot Volturi promos, which will be released in the upcoming days/weeks.

  19. Shelby says:

    Yeah, fake.
I’m sure the people in charge of the advertising wouldn’t pick such a bad picture of Taylor/Jacob for the poster. The other two aren’t half bad, but the fanmade poster of Taylor that came up a few days ago actually looked very believable.

  20. as a twilight blogger who spends WAY too much time looking at pictures of the cast, these are all from earlier photoshoots and not official summit releases:)
