‘The Princess And The Frog’ Gets A Movie Trailer
The first full movie trailer for Walt Disney‘s new animated film The Princess and the Frog isn’t due to hit theaters until Disney‘s new computer animated film UP! opens in theaters. But, the trailer has made its way to the Internets for our early viewing pleasure after it aired on the Disney Channel this weekend. My knowledge of the tale of The Princess and the Frog isn’t the best but it looks to me like Disney may be changing up the storyline a bit for their version of the tale. After the jump, check out the movie trailer in full and see what I’m talking about …
Uhhh, I don’t recall that the Princess turns into a frog after she kisses the cursed Prince. Is that the way the story really goes? Whatever the case may be, I am still very excited that Disney is finally releasing a traditionally drawn animated film after many years of releasing computer animated films. It’s been far too long … I can’t wait to see this film. What do y’all think of this trailer? Does it pique your interest in seeing this movie when it opens this Xmas?

in the original story the frog asks her for a kiss, and she gets grossed out and throws him at a wall. Then she feels bad because she thinks she killed him, kisses him and POOF. So yeah, they changed this up a lot, but I’m still too excited about it not being cg to care, lol. I’ll definitely be taking the little ones to see it
I’m a FOOL for Disney’s handdrawn cartoons…so I’ll be checking it out. I hope it’s good. It doesn’t look as good as Aladdin, Loin King, etc…but I’ll give it a shot! :-)
i’m eager for this film. jon musker and ron clements are an exceptional duo ; john lasseter produced it!!; randy newman did the music. this team buildup is so promising. the original frog princess story has enough to tweak around with so you can make a proper movie outline with. i don’t mind at all! disney doesn’t offer apologies for doing this with movies and they don’t need to. people must must must understand it’s a movie and you should expect it to be tweaked. this wait is going to be worth it.
I am such a sucker for traditionally animated movies! I don’t really like the computer animated stuff that they’ve been pushing for the past few years. It’s so nice to see a good animated movie- I can’t wait for it to come out! As far as the story line goes, who really cares if it sticks to the exact plot, none of their other movies have, they always add some sort of twist to the tail to make it more interesting!
I will be seeing this movie opening night. I’ll be the only person without kids. I love the traditionally animated movies. I’ll feel just like I did at 4 and 5 when I saw Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. I’m so excited!
I’m excited to see this movie because one of my cousin’s is doing the voice/singing for a fairy.
I LOVE PIXAR but i got goosebumps when they went through all the old movies from my childhood at the start of the trailer :P i hope this doesn’t disappoint!
im not sure how i feel about this, ill be checking it out fo sure, but just by the look of the trailer and all, it doesnt seem like it will be a classic such as the little mermaid, beauty and the beast etc. it should have been something pleced in a faraway land or something more fairy tail-ish, the films that are placed in places we all know dont do very well, pocahontas? mulan?

Oh goodness, I cannot wait to see this! It’s nice that Disney’s releasing a traditional style, hand-drawn animated movie! I mean, yes, I loved the Pixar movies, but it’s been soo long since they released an animation like this that I can’t help but see this movie.
It’s funny that this is the fairy tale that has been commented that Disney changed it. In reality disney changed alot of fairy tales to suit their own story lines.
Little Mermaid is not only not supposed to get the prince but dies in the end and Beauty and the Beast has the beast asking belle to marry him every single night and they are much colder towards each other
it’s just disney making it a little more family friendly and that’s just how I like it. SOOOOO EXCITED to see this movie!
I’m a fan of hand drawn animation so will probably going to see it to show my support.

I’m so excited to see this movie! It looks just like one of the classics.
And I think it’s good disney changec a lot of the storylines for the movies, because a lot of the original fairytales never end well…
whit – there’s a website of disney movies that resemble the same poses and people….google it! you might be right!
Count me in! And my daughter just might want to see it, too – three cheers for hand-drawn animation! And yes, I know they changed up the story quite a bit – but that’s what Disney does…
