Production continues on the Vancouver, BC Canada set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon as principal stars Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) were joined by Anna Kendrick (who reprises her role as Bella‘s friend Jessica) for the filming of some new scenes for the movie. It’s been a while since I read New Moon so I don’t quite recall this exact scene but the gang, apparently, went to the movies together (to help Bella forget about Edward?). Here are a few pics from this recent movie shoot:
OOOH .. it’s all so very much exciting. Will Jacob be able to fetch Bella‘s fave snack from the concessions stand in time to avoid tragedy? I guess we’ll find out when The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens in theaters this November.

This is where “Mike Newton” gets awfully sick during the movie while there with “Bella” and “Jacob”; after they drop “Mike” off, “Jacob” starts feeling ill, which turns up being his transformation into a shapeshifter.
…god, I feel like such a loser for knowing these specifics. lol.
haha yeah… this is supposed to be that awkward triple date with her, mike and jacob.. but i guess they added jessica to the mix to make it more like a double date in the movie?
I drove by the set on Saturday night, they were filming Bella’s “reckless” motorcycle ride, it was pretty neat to see:)

i think they may have combined bellas and jessicas trip with the triple date to save time in the movie. or maybe they are filming both scenes at the same time. who knows… buuuuut… i love the updates!!!
There are 2 movie scenes in the book. The first is when Bella, to appease Charlie, goes to the movies with Jessica and first hears Edward in her head. The second is the awkward Bella/Mike/Jacob date. I suppose they shot both at the same time. And yes, I also am a dork for knowing all of this, but a proud dork :)
I totally forgot about the whole Bella/Mike/Jacob movie thing in New Moon! Although that is probably because after reading about 50 pages of her moping around I started speed reading in hopes Edward would return and things would go back to normal… and that I wouldn’t have to gouge my eyes out… too many pages of teenage angst for me! At least though there are things in this movie that appear in the book!
There are two separate scenes where Bella goes to the movies with Jessica, then later on with Mike and Jacob..where they all get sick.
So far so good..let’s hope they stick to the book. I get so excited to see updates on New Moon.
Why would they change such a thang? STUPID. But, I guess I can understand they’ll tie Angela, Bella, and Jacob going to the movies and the part of Bella and Angela going to that weird bar because Edward’s voice pops into her head…

Karly its the first time she hangs out with Jessica again after being a zombie and while walking to get food she “hears” Edwards voice and heads towards the weird gus outside of the bar. It creeps Jessica out and makes it awkward at school hte next day. I’m sure in the movie it’ll be the type of scene where we actually see him in some capacity as well; it lets them work in more R Patz
I think they should put R Patz in the hallucinations. Like, have him standing behind Kristen, of course, invisible to Jessica and the others. Maybe have Kristen spin around, but he vanishes. Then returns in later hallucinations.
Just an idea.
et interviews say he is going to be seen by bella… (gotta get their 10 mill worth ya know!)
