Altho the Detroit Red Wings lost last night’s Game 6 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs series to the Anaheim Ducks here in SoCal last night, I have to admit that last night’s game was the most fun hockey game I’ve ever had the fortune to attend. Since I had an extra ticket for last night’s game (David was hosting his friend Diana last night and couldn’t attend) I decided to invite my friend Milo to see if he wanted to come along for the game … he had a better idea and rounded up his two best friends, Dino and Russ, along with his father and we all went to the game together last night (the DSC was deffo in the hiz). I couldn’t have planned it better myself … here are some of the pics that we snapped at last night’s game:

I cannot take credit for the very cool black and white photos … Milo was the one who snapped those pics. Because we got a pretty sweet upgrade, we were sat at center ice right behind the teams’ benches! It was INSANE! I had a hard time focusing on the game cuz I was too bizzy having the best time ever. After the jump, check out a few more pics from last night’s fun …

Milo, Dino, Russ and I have been talking about going to a hockey game together for the longest time so it was great that we finally got it together for last night’s game. You will not meet a nicer bunch of guys than these guys … they are seriously like brothers and they really go out of their way to make you feel included. I really cannot adequately convey how much fun last night was … you’ll just have to take my word on it. Big love and much thanks to Milo’s friends at the NHL for taking such great care of us last night … it was truly the best night ever.
Oh yeah … the game. Props to the Anaheim Ducks for playing a superb game last night … it was clear that they weren’t going to sleep on Game 6. They made the Wings work and, unfortch, they came up short. The good news is that the series will end in Detroit, MI at the Joe Louis Arena tomorrow night for the decisive Game 7. I’m confident that my Detroit homies are just lookin’ to finish out this series with a stellar win at home. I wish I could be there … but I’ll be watching for sure!! Go Wings!!

i love you Trent & your blog but – like ive said many times… GO DUCKS GO!
I’m sorry to say man, you’re bad luck! Seems like when you’re around the Wings lose!
:-(
They’ll win it at home, but still.
@EhCanadian — Actually, I think the Ducks are just pretty damn good at home.
Man, DO NOT BE THAT GUY that wears his own name on the back of a Professional Jersery!! Very Dushbagish!!!
@Sean Patrick — What kind of guy should I be? Please tell me specifically so I get it right next time.
HOLY CRAP! milo ventimiglia!!! lucky duck, or should I say wing!
reverse black and white, nice i love those kinds of pictures
I have to know…how the hell does one take a photo like the B&W one with you in your jersey??
@It’s Trent, Bitch! – Its just something that I hear alot either on Sports Radio, Morning radio, sport talk shows (radio\tv) that is just one of those things that sports fans arnt supposed to do… It was nothin against u man! Not at all.. It is a badass jersey, but with ones last name on it, just brings it down a notch.. Also the fact that its not a Sabres jersey also takes it down a few more notchs.. lol
Ya I was just kidding. I don’t buy into superstitions, but I thought it would have been funny to blame your presents for their loss.
It’s not that the Ducks are good at home (Detroit’s the best away team in the league), but I just think Detroit wasn’t all there last night. It’s a drag, but game 7 should be a good one.
Last time the Wings went to game 7, it was against Colorado, man years ago, and they won the game with something stupid like 8-1 or something. Haha. Not worrying at all.
DSC for life.
they know how to treat their members.
Looks like you all had a nice time.
<3
GO WINGS!
Go Ducks! Do em in Cali-style!
omg i am seething with jealousy ….
Seems Katy Perry’s an Adam Lambert fan…. :)
She soooo should give him that cape!!!
hehe…
Hugs
xof
Should be watching the NBA finals instead. Hockey is dead.
@anna: Hockey is dead? Wash your mouth out young lady ;) Joking aside – looks like you had a wicked time, Trent! And that photo of you standing up, with your name on your jersey, facing the crowd is extremely cool. It’s casual, but striking – you should frame it. The angle makes you look like you’re one of the players on the ice, facing an arena of fans. Milo’s pretty talented at this photography thing, huh? I wonder if he’s ever considered it as a career. Not that I’d want him to give up acting – he’s too good (and too hot) to not be on screen. Still, it’s nice to have options…
P.S. Pity about the game result!
I am bummed we didn’t catch you on the telly! What a bummer of a game!! (Maybe don’t go anymore, as it seems to be bad luck?) Everyone has their supersitions…I have to watch at my parent’s place, and my jersey has been Febrezed MANY MANY times but not washed since the Cup in ’97! You do what works!!
“My friend Milo”!!!! How did I miss this???? Does he know you have been lusting after him on your blog for years? So fun!
wow, THAT Milo?! Lucky bastard.
Let’s Go Red Wings!!!!!
I’m so sad! I was there and didn’t see you guys!!! It was a great game though!!! :)
