‘Star Trek’ Premieres In Japan
Members of bridge crew of the new Starship Enterprise were on hand at Shinjuku Milano One in Tokyo for the Japanese premiere of the new JJ Abrams film Star Trek which opens in the Land of the Rising Sun on May 29. Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s premiere (which, due to the time difference, actually took place “today” in Japan):
Yes, that is a replica of the USS Starship Enterprise NCC-1701 on the red carpet with the actors. These pics were too fun not to post … you can tell that everyone was very happy to be promoting the film in Japan … and with good reason. It’s doing very well here in the US. Folks in Japan have a great movie to look forward to. I’ve already seen the film twice and I’m itching to see it one more time … in IMAX. I’m anxious to see that Chris Pine underwear scene on the jumbo screen ;)

chris and zachary omg they are so hot especially chris.those colours really suit chris he looks so sweet inocent there and i love the colour of zachary’s tie.god i can’t wait to see this movie.the replica ship is quite good japenese people really know how to welcome people as they always do great things for all their stars.thnaks for posting

Zachary Quinto is so sexy. I’m kind of jealous that everyone knows who is now. I liked him ever since he was in Six Feet Under for all of 5 minutes. LOL…first heroes and then StarTrek…I’m losing my secret celeb crush.

I did the IMAX thing and it was great. This is the first time that I’ve had the “motion sickness” effect from an IMAX movie though. It just took awhile to get used to all of the action and then it went away.

I loved this movie! Saw it Saturday night. My boyfriend (who freelances, so he has time) has already seen it two more times! Once on Imax. I really liked this film. Great performances from everyone.

I grew up thinking Star Trek was nerdy, and well, sorry but most of the kids I grew up who loved the show were nerdy, lol. Anyway, I went to see the movie and I LOVED IT and I’ve never watched a full episode of Star Trek in my life.

You can see Zachary Quinto play Tori Spelling’s gay bff in her tv show So NoTORious, which is on dvd. He’s so cute as a gay guy.

I effing loooooooved this movie. I cant wait to see it in IMAX! Chris Pine is such a babe. I cant say that out loud anymore though because today my mom says “that new Captain Kirk looks alot like your dad did when he was in his 20’s…hmm.” gross!
