A bit of housekeeping/tying up of loose ends right now … for some UNGODLY reason I just read that Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty are dunzo for good. Apparently, the split was first reported last week and I clearly missed getting word. It makes sense that the couple would be on the outs … I understand that Sienna has set her sights on new conquest Josh Hartnett (who is single so, mebbe she’s wising up?) and I know that Balthazar spent part of this weekend with his children at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. To be honest, this is great news … Sienna needs to be with an unmarried man and Balthazar should be spending more time with his kids. I’m actually very glad that they are finally dunzo!

They understand each other and I wouldn’t be surprised if a relationship blossomed.” Sienna’s aides will be thrilled by the break with Balthazar. The relationship led to her being branded a home-wrecker and is rumoured to have put an end to her role as Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood movie. The source adds: “She has a real chance of hitting the big time again.” But it’s not as if she needs that much help. The talented blonde is preparing for the release of GI Joe where she’s a leather-clad villain. Sienna tells me: “It’s going to be big for me. Then I’m off to Broadway, treading the boards.”
All of this being said, I’m not entirely ruling out the possibility of a reunion for Sienazar (after all this “pal” of a source isn’t really all that convincing) but it is encouraging that they do seem to be moving on to sunnier pastures. This split would be really good for both of them. Here’s hoping both Sienna and Balthazar continue to move forward in a positive, non-extramarital way.

If Getty and his wife get back together I think they will weather the storm, I hope they do, people should now leave them alone to get on with their life, it is the children who will suffer. Sometimes life get’s in he way and people stray, lets hope he learned his lesson. Said after the Kimmel Show when asked about his afffair with Miller ” What was I thinking I love my family and I am doing the right thing now.” Lets hope so.

this ‘split’ is to protect her in the event that GI Joe doesn’t open as well as expected. they’ll be back in the public eye afterward, making people queasy all over again.

I still don’t understand why everyone is so nasty about Sienna in this situation. She wasn’t married. And we don’t even really know how long he had been separated or what the real story was, for that matter. How we have different standards for Sienna than we do for, say, Madonna, is beyond me. I guess it is more popular to follow the crowd and villianize Sienna where readers would flip out over the shaming of Madonna.

yes, I agree with you it takes two to tango as Getty himself said, but it’s the lies that get me, Getty was not separated, when her PR’s said that getty had been sleeping on a friends sofa for the last six month, an article just after that showed Mr. and Mrs Getty at a function together and if you check you will find they where seen together at 3 different party’s within the last 3 month before the affair was publicised, apart from that why she Mrs Getty lie and make herself look a fool. Madonna is no different from Miller can’t stand her either, some of these stars need are reality check. I wonder if you saw the photo of Mrs Getty just after the affair came to light, if nothing else that would change your mind , she looked terrible very drawn and I think most likely still in shock. I wonder what some people here would do if that happened to them.
