Paris Hilton Calls ‘The Hills’ ‘Fake & Lame’
Paris Hilton, newly returned to the US from her travels abroad with latest boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, gave a short interview to US Weekly magazine yesterday and had a few colorful things to say about the MTV reality TV show The Hills. You may recall that Paris’s beau, Doug, made a name for himself by appearing on the show as Lauren LC Conrad’s romantic love interest on The Hills before she dumped him on the show. He hung around for a few eps by trying to befriend Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado … but off-screen, he set his sights on achieving fame by dating Amanda Bynes. After she dumped him, the next logical course of action was to date Paris Hilton and BAM! the perfect couple was born. But, according to Paris Hilton, she is not a fan of The Hills … primarily because she believes it is “fake and lame”:
Paris Hilton says her beau Doug Reinhardt won’t be appearing on MTV’s The Hills again. “The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn’t even want to be a part of it,” Hilton told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at the Fifi Awards in NYC. Lauren Conrad famously dumped Reinhardt on the show. Brody Jenner later accused Reinhardt of going behind Conrad’s back by pursuing Stephanie Pratt. But Hilton told Us the show portrayed Reinhardt “in a way he’s not.” “They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he just thinks it’s lame,” she said. “I’ve never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it’s about. But he just thought it was cheesy.” Reinhardt’s reality days aren’t entirely over. He will appear on the second season of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, which debuts June 2 on MTV. “It was great,” she told Us. “He was always on set every single day, giving fun ideas. With him there, he always gave the most amazing ideas. They actually hired him as a producer to be on BFF Dubai [Hilton filmed a version of her American reality show there]. They loved his ideas so much.”
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I cannot even believe some of the things that come out of Hilton’s mouth. She is SOOOOO ridiculous, it’s beyond hilarious. I suppose the logical question would be how can Paris Hilton think The Hills is “fake and lame” if she’s “never seen the show in [her] life”? At least we can take comfort that her reality TV show My New BFF isn’t fake and lame, right? I just pray to the gods above that Paris and Doug will stay together forever … FOREVER! They so deserve one another more than any two people on Earth.

Isnt her whole career/life based on “lame and fake” events. Everything she does and says is staged and well throughout before she even does it. I will never believe that she was friends with Britney because they clicked. All for publicity…her whole life.

That episode where Brody attacks Doug for going behind LC’s back by pursuing Stephanie Pratt (even though Doug and LC are no longer dating) is one of my favorite fake and lame moments because the story requires Brody to act like such a girl.

But there goes these 2 ever getting a shot at a Newlyweds show on MTV after calling out the Hills as fake. Okay, I tried watching My New BFF not because I like Paris Hilton at all but b/c I thought it might be sort of entertaining and fun to make fun of. It was not AT ALL! Most boooring, stupid show ever! Do you guys think she tries to act this dumb or it’s an act? My husband insists it’s all an act, that being as rich as she is she’s probably gone to the best schools in the country but honestly, I think it’s not an act whatsoever…

I hate to defend Parasite, but since her boyfriend was on it, I can see how she would know how fake and lame it is without watching.

the Hills is about as real as Joan Rivers. You have to be pretty brain dead and lacking any sort of taste to consider The Hills or any of those shows entertainment. It may be easy for you guys to make fun of Paris but have you made millions and millions of dollars marketing yourself and doing nothing but show up to places? I think Paris Hilton is brilliant, as spinny as she may act, the woman has business brains and more money than she’ll ever be able to spend, sure she has the family money but she’s made alot of money herself.
The Hills actors are just lucky cause they have you idiots that watch the show and made them famous. how funny is it that you love watching a show of someone having dinner with someone else, or talking on the phone to their friends and watching fake drama unfold as they hang out at a bar and gossip with eachother about guys, girlfriends and shopping and shit….uh…yah…whos the dumb one?

Erm, I don’t watch The Hills, and from what I’ve read here and on other sites, even people who like it know it’s fake. People are just entertained by different things, that doesn’t have any bearing on one’s IQ.
And Paris is an idiot. She might play it up on screen to be “cute” but that doesn’t mean she’s smart just because she realises it can get her a massive paycheck. Besides, she surely has loads of handlers to make the big decisions for her.
