And so … we may now know exactly why Mel Gibson‘s wife Robyn decided to file for divorce last month after about 29 years of marriage. According to a new report from TMZ, Mel‘s mistress Oksana Grigorieva (whom he took to the very public LA screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine last month) is pregnant with his child. Uhhhh … yeah, I think that’s a pretty good reason for a wife to file from divorce from her skeevy husband:
We’ve learned Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant with his child. Our sources say Gibson has already told his estranged wife, Robyn, and their children about the news. We’re told Oksana is in her second trimester. Robyn filed for divorce on April 13. By the way, Oksana is living in a house Mel got for her. And guess what else? Until recently, Oksana was living in a house purchased by songwriter/producer David Foster, with whom she also had a relationship.
Wait … wasn’t Mel Gibson spouting all this religiousness biz back when he was promoting his film The Passion of the Christ? Yeah, that talk kinda fell by the wayside when he got arrested for drunk driving back in the Summer of 2006 … but he has since kept his nose out of trubs — well, until this mess came out. If true, I hope his wife Robyn is able to take him for all he’s worth in divorce court. It’s bad enough that he, apparently, cheated on his wife but to father a lovechild in the process? That’s pretty low. I certainly would not look to Mel Gibson‘s moral compass if I were lookin’ for someone to emulate. I do hope the old adage that cheaters never prosper holds true in this case. What a totally crappy situation for the still-current Mrs. Gibson.

If I were Robyn, I’d have left a LONG time ago . . . like right around the time my husband gave an interview with Diane Sawyer and said I was going to hell because I didn’t practice the same brand of Christianity he did, even though I’d been a faithful and supportive wife and raised his fifteen thousand kids.
Anyway, I guess better later than never. Oh, and given Gibson’s blatant, horrible anti-Semitism, how sweet would it be if it’s a Jewish lawyer who helps his wife get what she deserves from him? Very, I think.
I wouldn’t say it’s quite the crappy situation for Mrs. Gibson. After all, she is set to receive A LOT of money from Mel’s assets.

Hope all is well! Mel Gibson is totally creepy, I think. I’m sure his wife will do quite well and probably be a lot happier now that she is free of his nutiness and in possession of much of his/their money on her own.

I agree with …………. (?) I’m not defending Mel but I think he really is as religious as he says he is, I don’t think he actually cheated on his wife with this whatever she is. I’m quite sure they’ve been separated for a while already, like I said once, you don’t just wake up one day and file for divorce, specially such religious people like them and after so many years together. It is obvious that divorce is the last option, specially when there are kids involved.

Nonetheless, the National Enquirer took that comment and wrote a copy paste of it entirely in their 7th of may edition, an entire article based on this anonymus faulse comment, thus the guy alos said it was BS…

But later on in january 2009 he made videos with that oksana in Mexico, and he let her rent a house he had newly bought in LA, at the end of january 2009, and then invited her to Guanacaste in Costa Rica in mars, where he was taking vacation with his children and grand children and their respective gf, and his daughters husband Shepphard and their 2 kids, and pictures were taken of the 2 on a beach.
And thats when the hell broke lose and Robyn finalised the divorce without asking him a thing and got her own lawyer.
And thats it.
When the sun pritned the faulse story of oksana suposed pregnancy, as being rumored by oksanas own friends, Mel Gibson thougth it was true, and thats why he brougth her to that wolverine premiere, which was oksanas idea.. but he soon found out it was a lie, and they do not have talk together since.
He is extremely mad at her for having done that to him, lied and taken him for a fool, for so long, and he wish he had never met her.
And thats all there is to it.
He talks of going back with Robyn and regret bitterly the misery this story caused his own family, particulary what this oksana did.

However, I think its of note that Mel Gibson and his wife were separated for 3 years or more when this all came out- not that it makes it any better, but I think that it kind of explains why he was involved with someone new..
