Mariah Carey posted the title of new album on her official Twitter profile yesterday and I feel duty-bound to share the news with all y’all. Here Mimi‘s tweet announcement of her new album title:

Mimi is so good to her Lambs. While the title Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel doesn’t really reach out and grab me, I’m excited for MC to release another album that is bound to head straight for the #1 position on the album charts. Granted, E=MC2 wasn’t a stunning masterpiece, there were some good tunes on that album. I love me some Mariah and I’m looking forward to hearing new stuff from her. Do y’all like the album title?

Not my favorite title, but it sounds a little more serious than her last album so I am all for that. E=MC2 was really fun and the perfect summer album IMO, but this will hopefully have more staying power and some better lyrics. From what I have heard it is going to be pretty hot, and Mariah is working with Timbaland for the first time too!
I think all of her album titles sound really narcissistic… although I suppose most album titles are. To me, this one sounds like she’s trying a little too hard.
Don’t get me worng, Mariah is a talented songstress but she has become so annoying!! and her songs have also become repetitive and annoying

i kind of like the title. her titles always kinda stand out. im excited for this album, theres been alot of good buzz around it and the like steven said, shes working with Timbaland..right there you know the cd is gunna have some hotness to it.
I’m not too sure how I feel about the Memoir part, y’know? But, I hope Mariah goes into a complete different direction. Her last album sucked! I sometimes like to put it in and blast ‘Migrate’ just for the beginning part where she screeches. I’ll turn up the volume super high and go around parks and play it and ppl are like WTF? it’s sooooooo funnay

Her album titles, with the exception of Emancipation have all been so barf disgusting and cute, or trying too hard, and her music has become increasingly repetitive and bland.
I look forward to anything she does … that girl’s going to be making albums until she drops – so we should just roll with it and keep a sense of humour!!
