Kristen Stewart Lunches With Dakota Fanning
Earlier today we got an eyeful of a bunch of photos of Robert Pattinson shooting shirtless scenes for The Twilight Saga: New Moon which is currently in production in Italy but those photos were totally devoid of Twilight protagonist star Kristen Stewart. Here are a couple pics of K. Stew lunching with fellow New Moon co-star Dakota Fanning in Montepulciano, Italy last week. As you can tell, Kristen looked thrilled to be photographed by that paps:
Hahahaha … I love the girl but sometimes her bratty behavior is a real turn off. It’s bad enough that many fans aren’t too happy with her previous comments about her experiences with them … if you add to that animosity the fact that another contingent of fans prolly hates her because “she’s with” Robert Pattinson (ie. she, as Bella Swan, is with Robert, as Edward Cullen) well, it’d prolly help out a bit of she seemed friendly. Meh, mebbe the bratty thing is her thing. Since Avril Lavigne fell off the face of the planet there has been a void on the bratty stars landscape. I guess K. Stew fills that void nicely … or, shall I say, brattily.

I don’t like her all that much. She can have rob since the odds of me meeting him are slim to none. lol. I just don’t like the fact that she doesn’t seem to appreciate anything she has and she treats her fans like crap. It also doesn’t help that she is supposed to be a role model because of the roll she has taken on and she is seen smoking out of pot pipes and flipping people off. She just seems very snotty and that is more than unattractive in my opinion.

@ Jill – I’m 18 as well and I don’t act like that or say things the way she would say them in such manner. Then again, I’m not famous nor am I part of a huge franchise. I know a couple of friends who have met her, and they both have told me how sweet she is. One of my friends met her after the paps were following her screaming “Bitch”, but Kristen stopped for pictures and autographs. If anyone doesn’t have class, it is the people taking the photo of her.

She acts like a normal person would, if they were being followed by screaming teenagers and scary sweaty eastern-Europeans with cameras (aka the paps). @ the people wondering what she said: she basically just said that fans acted over-the-top sometimes, asking somewhat inane questions like, “What’s it like to have Edward fall in love with you even though he also wants to suck your blood”, and fainting, etc etc…

Honestly, people need to start watching her in interviews. Not the ones from Access Hollywood or those bullshit mainstream tv programs. But the REAL interviews that ask RELEVANT questions. She actually seems like a chill fucking person and so what if she smokes weed? Who the fuck doesn’t?
As for her acting, yes Bella is bland character which in turn made Kristen’s acting look bland when really she did a good job at portraying Bella. Watch her in the other movies she’s done, Kristen’s pretty talented. It’s so annoying when people talk like they know she’s a brat and hates her fans when in reality she isn’t and she doesn’t! Stop believing the shit you read or hear because it’s always only FACE VALUE. If we were celebrities, we’d get pretty fucking annoyed with the paps and the media coverage. She’s only human people.

Her acting is not that great of an actress. She does a lot of the same thing. Her acting sucked in twilight she was awkward and weird. I understand that Bella is awkward, but she wasn’t as awkward as Kristen portrayed her. She was the same way in Into The Wild and In the land of Women. She is just a bland actress with a bad attitude. I can understand that she is in the spotlight a lot, but so are a lot of actors and they handle the media with grace. Rob is 10x more sought after and he still seems charming. Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene seem sweet and professional. Kristen is a spoiled brat and should learn some manners.

I don’t have any feelings for her as Bella Swan but I do wonder why someone gets into the ‘acting’ business if they don’t want fame – especially NOW, knowing full well that if you hit it big, the paps are going to be all over you (so much so that you could possibly get into multiple car wrecks). I can understand not liking that aspect of it but don’t audition for things Kristen, if you don’t want the fame and fan-adoration that goes with it! That’s all.

Avril Lavigne has not “fell(en) off the face of the planet” as you put. She’s released a clothing line, a perfume (Black Star) and not to mention she is currently working on her next CD which is said to be released at the end of ‘09-beginning of ‘10.
Now if you’re referring to the fact she’s not out everywhere wanting to be in the camera’s eye, your right. She’s a grown ass women who does not need to be in the paparazzi eye and still makes BANK. She’s smart and knows to avoid obvious celebrity hang out spots.

She doesn’t really bother me… I mean if I had a swarm of people constantly in my face taking pictures, even when I’m doing something as mundane as eating lunch I would probably flip them off too… not because I’m a brat or a bitch (ok, I lie, I am a bitch!) but because what the hell! I will say that she should be a little more grateful to her fans because without them she wouldn’t be the famous actress that she is and she’s going to need them after the Twilight series is over to carry her career into adulthood… but otherwise it’s whatever. And as for the ones that hate her because they think she’s with Rob, it probably doesn’t help that at least a handful of magazines, gossip columns and blogs report them as being together every week so I can’t imagine that helps!

From my personal experience, most people my age and her age went through the “brat” stage well before 18; if you’re an 18-year-old and your going through the brat stage then there’s a serious problem. Just because she’s a certain age does NOT give her an excuse for her behavior. There’s already enough age discrimination against young teenagers as it is let alone one having to be labeled as a brat who is almost in their 20’s and well aware of their own personal actions and the words coming out of their mouth(s).

Kristen did not waive to her fans with her little finger. I dont think her fans would be rude to hide and peep and then take pictures of her and her friends during their private time. Most of her words are easily misrepresented by some media.If anyone in her place would definitely not be happy. She entertains her fans when they ask for autographs or take pictures even in the wee mornings. Put yourself in her shoes, She is talented and she made twilight alive. Put another actress there , it would be a totally different twilight even with Robert in it. Robert and Kristen both acted in other movies n they have proven that their other co stars that they worked with before did not have the same chemistry as they have together.

It is strange when the media reported Rob as saying “gross fans or crazy fans” , fans didnt react the same way when one of the magazines reported Kristen to say “phsycotic fans” (which actually if we read in the magazine it didnt mean what the magazine was highlighting). ok first off, she has said that they are sometimes “crazy” and she is put into “psychotic” situations, which everyone in the Twilight cast is…..for example, the Hot Topic tour…and when they went to Mexico, girls were CLIMBING ON TOP OF CARS just to touch them! and Rob has said the same things as Kristen has said about the fans, that they’re “crazy” and nobody is chastising him AT ALL for his comments….and some fans have actually shown up at her house….that is unacceptable.
secondly, she has been thrust into the spotlight after making a movie that NOBODY in the cast thought would be as big as Twilight is….she has only ever made indie movies that she herself has said “nobody has ever seen”…so this is just really new for her, and she’s not the type of person to change her attitude and her behavior just to please the mainstream world/Hollywood, and i think she should be commended for that. It’s refreshing.
and most of all, the things that paparazzi and SOME gossip sites have said about her (not you Trent, i love you and you’re always nice to people) have been atrocious. People have complete disregard for a person’s comfort level and privacy. Just because she’s in a movie does not give the entire world an all access pass into her life. She’s an actress, not a welcome mat. She is accommodating to her fans when they pick the right time and place to ask for pictures and autographs, but when you show up at her house or ask for a picture with her while she’s out to dinner with people, you’re going to get shot down. It’s just that simple.

KStew bratty? i don’t think that opinion is shared by people she worked with. The general opinion of her is she is a ‘hardworking, talented and REAL person’…read it somewhere and heard it from cast interviews (The Messengers, The Cake Eaters, Panic Room, etc.)
She deserves ‘downtime’ as well…that is, when we feel like just locking ourselves up in our room for a few hours or a few days to recollect our thoughts or recharge our batteries and when your very annoying brother/sister etc comes barging in…i don’t think they’ll just get ‘the finger’ from you. One great thing about Kristen Stewart is that she never pretends to be nice in front of cameras. She’s actually a great person, very very sweet, young but mature. Robert Pattinson (the most friendly/down to earth actor ve eva seen in my life) cliamed Kristen’s a great friend of his. Sure, he likes her more than just a “friend” he never changes his mind once he sees who she really is. He puts so much affort to win her heart, he even survives Nikki Reed. He shows everyone how much he likes her. He spent most of his time off screen around her, he usually volunteered to get her back on set after short break, he put her in a cab betw his parents after his b-day dinner, his actions speak volume, it’s gotta be sumthing about this girl.

Everyone has made valid points. We weren’t there so we don’t know what if anything the paps were yelling at her and we know that paps can say some ugly things. I’ve never understood why stars get so angry at the paparazzi taking pictures of them all the time. Guess what – YOU wanted to be famous and be a movie star. There are a million benefits to being a rich, famous actor and very few negatives. This is one of the negatives. If you really hate living that way so much, then move to Iowa and become a cashier at the grocery store and I guarantee people will stop trying to take pictures of you.

What a bunch of children. I like the fact that everyone who hates her are basing their opinions on two things: what they read in magazines that have NO journalistic value at all and the misguided hope that it should be them kissing the Rob guy in the movie and in real life. Learn this, He does not know you even exist. You don’t have a chance to even meet him much less be with him. And to all the amateur acting critics, she is an actress, we all knew that when we first saw her in the Panic Room. Of course you probaby did not see it because when came out it was rated PG-13 and you weren’t old enough. She is a pretty girl with her own style and not playing the fake to your face/bitchy behind your back game that we all expect from young hollywood. Face it, she has talent and fame and you don’t, that is not going to change.
