Kiefer Sutherland, who was recently arrested for allegedly headbutting and breaking the nose of a designer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala here in NYC earlier this month, paid a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to, among other things, play air drums in order to receive a drum head autographed by The Roots …
… oh yeah, and to talk about that headbutting incident. The Kiefster does admit that he really “regrets” that it happened but until the matter is resolved he cannot really talk about it — so Jimmy asks him another fun questions for his interview — he asks Kiefer if he thinks he’s Jack Bauer. You know, when Kiefer Sutherland isn’t running around like a mad man (ie. when he’s not jumping into Xmas trees) he seems like a very nice, level-headed guy. Alls I know is I would never want to be on the receiving end of his anger … under any circumstances. He comes across quite charming in this interview with Jimmy Fallon, tho. I can’t help but love the guy.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Kiefer several times, he’s an extremely nice guy, the most down to earth celeb I’ve ever met. I wish him the best and hope everything works out.
I was lucky enough to bump into Kiefer on my trip to LA a couple of years ago and was a little hesitant to approach him because I didn’t know what to expect and he turned out to be the coolest guy ever. Talked to him for about 10 minutes and he was soooo friendly. Very laid back and surprisingly soft -spoken – nothing like Jack Bauer LOL I became a fan that night and I’ve been hooked on 24 ever since!!

Once again – if this incident had happened with a female celeb … say Lindsay Lohan, people would be trashing her to death … but Keifer’s little ‘incidents’ get turned into a joke and everyone laughs it off. I think Keifer could kill someone and everyone would still say how adorable he is … and what age is he? – 40 now?
i don’t know if it was this interview or not but does anyone know of the interview when kiefer talked about falling off his bike?
