Joseph Gordon Levitt Does ‘VMan’ Magazine
Joseph Gordon Levitt, who will be appearing in the films 500 Days of Summer and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra this year, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the issue #14 of VMan magazine which is due to hit stands on May 14. Lookin’ all broody and shizz, JGL is featured on a very moody black and white coverphoto … behold:
And there is more moody, broody angst where this came from. JGL’s VMan photoshoot is entirely black and white and seems to foreshadow the inner darkness that he will portray in his upcoming movies. After the jump, check out a few more photos from his VMan photospread …
As you may, or may not know, Joseph will portray the character of The Doctor in G.I. Joe … a character that will eventually become the villainous leader Cobra Commander. Methinks that this darker photospread in VMan is a signaler of things to come. JGL usually features in fun, spirited photoshoots (like his last for Details magazine) but these are more … intense. It’s going to be a great year for JGL. I can’t wait to see him in action.

He does look like Heath a bit around the eyes. They did 10 Things I Hate About You which is one of my favorite “teen” movies. He is gorgeous though and such and amazing actor

I just recently saw the movie “Mysterious Skins” and it convinced me that he is absolutely insanely talented. He is in a class of his own. And that was an intense, intense movie if you have all not seen it.

If you like him in Brick and Mysterious Skin, you should see Manic. He is very good in it. He also has a website with his brother, but he hasn’t updated in almost a year:( I check it all the time lol.

I have read somewhere that if they decide to keep the Joker character in the future Batman movies, that people think he would be a good replacement b/c he looks like Heath. He has become very handsome.

It’s so funny to read all of the Heath Ledger comparisons because I thought he looked EXACTLY like Heath when they starred together in 10 Things I Hate About You. Heath was just older, buffer and hotter. Every time they were onscreen together I was like, “Man, they look like brothers!” I wonder why more people haven’t noticed till now. I guess it’s b/c Joseph is looking like he’s finally matured into a man. I wonder if he had to bulk up to play a G.I. Joe? Weren’t they really muscular? I’ve seen all of the movies people are talking about and he is BRILLIANT in all of them, especially Manic. He’s a very talented actor and he seems to choose his films wisely. Another one to check out is The Lookout.
