‘Inglourious Basterds’ Releases A New Poster
Brad's a Basterd

Here is our first look at new movie poster for Brad Pitt‘s new film Inglourious Basterds (which is being directed by Quentin Tarantino) that clearly decrees that Brad is a Basterd … behold:

As you may recall, Basterds tells the tale of a group of Jewish-American Nazi-hunters who brutally scalp and/or behead the Nazis that they found … which, of course, means it will be a nice family-friendly movie. In any event, this is what Brad will look like in his role as Lt. Aldo Raine, described by Tarantino as a “hillbilly straight from the mountains of Tennessee”. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this film … I think I’ll need to see/hear more before I form an initial opinion. What do y’all think … does this sound like a movie you’d like to see?

I’m not too interested in seeing it. Sounds disgusting.

  2. KP Love says:

I am a die-hard Tarantino fan, therefore, I will see any movie he releases. :)

  3. Dana says:

Of what I’ve read and seen of it…it looks pretty good! But it is going to be violent!

  4. tsagrednerp says:

It looks very Tarantinoesque which I love. Def looking forward to it, it should be both funny and disturbing. Good balance.

  5. katt says:

i’m a tarantino fan as well. but i think i’ll wait until it comes out on dvd till i watch it……..

  6. B says:

Not interested at all and I really like historical drama. This just doesn’t appeal.

  7. Clare says:

Uh….that’s not how you spell Bastard. It’s with an “a.”

  8. Ashley says:

    @Clare I think that’s the point. ;)

  9. Cleo says:

Both ‘inglorious’ and ‘bastard’ were spelt incorrectly on purpose.

I’ll see the movie out of curiosity. :)

  10. Chase says:

    This movie seems extremely weird.

  11. janelle says:

taratino has the most intriguing films.
i’m just glad that the ‘stache wasn’t a trend and was intended fora movie!

  12. Jessica says:

Considering I’m from the mountains of Tennessee, I’m not sure if I’m offended by the hillbilly statement or if I agree with it.
On a different note, I’m not crazy about Tarantino films so I don’t know about this movie…or if I like the porn stache that Brad has in this movie.

  13. Kendra says:

I think if this was done by anyone else, it wouldn’t work..But Tarantino is such an amazing director..He’ll make it work!

  14. Sarah says:

Im interested if only because I want to see Brad Pitt embrace a backwoods accent.

  15. Z says:

Hmm, Tarantino films are normally too violent for me but this one is intriguing – the fact that Brad Pitt is in it helps.

  16. Ileana says:

I dislike Brad Pitt very much

  17. la princesa says:

I think the man is insane, but Tarantino makes good films…

  18. Shelby Anne says:

I’m not sure I like the idea of this movie. In no way is it based on a true story. So why pretend that it happened, when it did not? Why try to glamorize the war? It was what it was. I’d rather see something like Schindler’s List or Sophie Scholl than the likes of this or Valkerie……

  19. Val says:

I love T’s writing, but I can’t handle the violence. I’d be more likely to read the script than watch the movie.

    recent tarantino movie’s – trash.

brad pitt’s acting – paint drying boring.
