God Jesus Is A DJ
Jesus Luz, who is currently in Brazil doing various things like shopping for jewelry for his reported ladylove Madonna, did a bit of DJing at a club over the weekend. According to Quem magazine (as translated by Made in Brazil), Jesus DJed a party for his mother who was celebrating her 37th birthday! Mind you, Jesus is only 22. HMMM. Here are pics of Mr. Luz on the decks at a club called Taj Lounge in Rio over the weekend:
To his credit, Jesus did make clear to reporters that he is “just starting out” as a DJ and is by no means proficient in the craft. That said, he plans to do a DJ gig in NYC in a few weeks. Why he thinks he’s ready to DJ in NYC is beyond me but there you have it. Also, it should be noted that the Quem article makes clear that his mother is only 15 years older than him … whether or not that is accurate remains to be seen. I gotta say, tho, I never figured that Jesus Luz would be at all interesting outside of his involvement with Madonna. I think I could come to enjoy DJ Jesus … there’s bound to be lots of hilarity to come from this new endeavor.

If Jesus is 22, and his mother is 37 – then that could mean that his grandmother could be around Madonna’s age?!?! Gross!

Hate to say this but most of NYC is full of overpriced apartments and transient midwest leftovers so he should do just fine. Most of the real NY left years ago. I don’t know if this is a good avenue for a career.

whenever anyone gets their name known at all they think they can do all kinds of things… they almost always make fools of themselves. people need to wait until they actually develop SKILL before doing shit like this just because someone will let them!

Oh, man… Anytime someone starts off as something else and ends up trying to start a career in rapping or dj’ing….. it’s never ever good.
