We are still about 3 months away from the release of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra in theaters but the promotional goodies just keep on comin’. Here is our first look at the just-released full-color international poster that features both team Joe and team Cobra on the same one-sheet:

Empire magazine has debuted this new international poster for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, coming to theaters on August 7. Directed by Stephen Sommers, the action-adventure stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Said Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid. From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. JOE team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos.

I really love how Sienna Miller‘s character The Baroness really needed a wind machine to blow out her hair so dramatically for this poster. It works, I approve. You will also note that the Cobra character The Doctor is featured in the top right corner of the poster … G.I. Joe fans know that The Doctor will eventually become Cobra Commander. I cannot wait to see how Joseph Gordon Levitt will bring that character to life. I know there is some concern that the film will not live up to the expectations of rabid G.I. Joe fans but I have faith that Paramount will give us a good, action-packed film. Hello, Channing Tatum is in it … what else needs to be said … other than, Yo Joe!!
