Filming got hot and heavy in Montepulciano, Italy today as Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson filmed a new scene for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Here are a couple pics of Kristen (in the role of Bella Swan) jumping on a very shirtless Robert Pattinson (in the role of Edward Cullen) in a pivotal scene in the story where the young lovers are finally reunited in Italy after enduring a long separation from one another:
Fans of the book know that this is the first time that Bella and Edward are able to be together after spending much agonizing time apart. What follows next is a smoochfest unrivaled in the annuls of movie-making history (well, OK, not really but they do go at it pretty heavily). HMMM … how many folks out there wish they could be in Kristen Stewart‘s enviable position in these photos ;) After this joyous reunion, the couple must face danger from outside forces (ie. the bad vamps) and must soldier on and battle the forces of evil in order to be together. But for one brief moment … Bella and Edward are allowed to share this romantic kiss. I can’t wait to see how this scene will turn out when the film hits theaters this November.

The dots are probably for Post – like if they are going to do some 2D/3D work on the shot. I’ve not read the book(s), so I am just assuming this would be whatever is happening in the scene. OR— now a days, the film company(s) will convert the film to a video game, so it is easier to get the actor doing the take with the dots and transfer the film footage to video game footage.
Def agree that RPatz is drool-worthy – then again, I thought that when he was Cedric in HP#4.
I have a feeling this movie is going to be IMMENSELY better than the first one. Hopefully Kristen has had some acting lessons & R. Patts has had more speech help with covering up his accent! they do have great chemistry through. hawwwt

I freaking love them… they are the perfect Bella and Edward. I see magazines every week and other blogs that comment and speculate about them and what goes on when they’re not shooting and I don’t care as long as we get a final product like those pictures!! Seriously the chemistry between them in Twilight totally almost melted the screen and clearly they haven’t lost it!! I’m TEAM EDWARD all the way so I love these pics!!!
He is so intensely beautiful! And so intentional about his acting looking as real as possible. The product (for me) is so believable, even in the still shots, even just his neck muscles. Really amazing. K. Stew, take notes please, and, when challenged, remind yourself: THEY are paying YOU to jump on this man. Wow. So, this time around, buck up and show some appreciation for all that magnificence that is your co-star! He only waited like a 100 years for you . . . ;)

Oh my goodness! I love this scene, because it makes my heart jump for joy. Bella finally sees Edward and Edward thinks that he has already died and gone to heaven. Mr. Pattinson is very captivating in these pictures. Wow, simply wow.

I don’t know what it is about Robert Pattinson. Sometimes I can’t stand the untidy, dishevelled, haven’t-showered-in-six-days look…and then he goes all vampire-gorgeous on me and I change my mind.
I suppose he just posesses that Edward Cullen vibe everyone loves so much.
