Bella Swan & Edward Cullen Share A Kiss In Italy
Filming got hot and heavy in Montepulciano, Italy today as Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson filmed a new scene for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Here are a couple pics of Kristen (in the role of Bella Swan) jumping on a very shirtless Robert Pattinson (in the role of Edward Cullen) in a pivotal scene in the story where the young lovers are finally reunited in Italy after enduring a long separation from one another:
Fans of the book know that this is the first time that Bella and Edward are able to be together after spending much agonizing time apart. What follows next is a smoochfest unrivaled in the annuls of movie-making history (well, OK, not really but they do go at it pretty heavily). After the jump, check out photos of the couple sharing their romantic kiss in the Italian square …
HMMM … how many folks out there wish they could be in Kristen Stewart’s enviable position in these photos ;) After this joyous reunion, the couple must face danger from outside forces (ie. the bad vamps) and must soldier on and battle the forces of evil in order to be together. But for one brief moment … Bella and Edward are allowed to share this romantic kiss. I can’t wait to see how this scene will turn out when the film hits theaters this November.

oh TOTAL spoiler pic! not that most people didn’t know though lol..but this was def the type of stuff I was trying to avoid seeing ahead of the movie coming out….I pictured her more as barreling into him and knocking him over, not leaping into his arms..pretty sure thats how the book described it more, cause shes trying to knock him out of the sun, not just reunite with him..also, i may be remembering wrong, but i thought she was adament about not letting him actually kiss her on the mouth in the book???? its been awhile since I read it though. anyone?

I cannot get over how epic this is. She jumps oh him, he catches her, cue fervent makeout. These sort of awesome over the top reunions only happen in fanfiction but OMG WE GET TO SEE IT ON THE BIG SCREEEEEEEEEEN!!!!! seriously the twilight fandom is going crazy right now what I find funny is they shot this scene today and it’s all over the web! and my god is Rob hot and Kristin looks pretty in the pics call it waht u want about them but they ahve amazing chemistry it just oozes from the pics!

His abs aren’t just airbrushed, maybe a little, but I saw a pic of him from the side in this scene, and that boy has been working out!!!!! Holy crap, has he been. The dots are probably for Post – like if they are going to do some 2D/3D work on the shot. I’ve not read the book(s), so I am just assuming this would be whatever is happening in the scene. OR— now a days, the film company(s) will convert the film to a video game, so it is easier to get the actor doing the take with the dots and transfer the film footage to video game footage.
Def agree that RPatz is drool-worthy – then again, I thought that when he was Cedric in HP#4.

I freaking love them… they are the perfect Bella and Edward. I see magazines every week and other blogs that comment and speculate about them and what goes on when they’re not shooting and I don’t care as long as we get a final product like those pictures!! Seriously the chemistry between them in Twilight totally almost melted the screen and clearly they haven’t lost it!! I’m TEAM EDWARD all the way so I love these pics!!!

He is so intensely beautiful! And so intentional about his acting looking as real as possible. The product (for me) is so believable, even in the still shots, even just his neck muscles. Really amazing. K. Stew, take notes please, and, when challenged, remind yourself: THEY are paying YOU to jump on this man. Wow. So, this time around, buck up and show some appreciation for all that magnificence that is your co-star! He only waited like a 100 years for you . . . ;)
