A New Batch Of Carrie Prejean Topless Photos Comes To Light

Even the Devil wouldn't recognize you
May 12th, 2009

Embattled and currently reigning (for now) Miss California USA Carrie Prejean will find out today from Donald Trump (the owner of the Miss USA organization which governs her title) whether or not she will be able to keep her crown in the wake of her topless photos scandal. Thus far, it’s not turning out to be a great day for Prejean. She has previously acknowledged taking topless photos when she was “young” and “naive” but has insisted that she did nothing to invalidate the contract she signed when competing to become Miss California USA (which requires full disclosure of any questionable photos taken of the contestants before they compete in the pageant). TMZ has uncovered a new batch of photos that show Carrie Prejean posing in, I would say, questionable poses … with her nips showing in many of the photos:

Carrie Prejean must have a really, really bad memory — because TMZ uncovered a brand new set of topless photos “biblically correct” Miss California took before she applied for the crown. These pics were taken just last year — meaning Carrie was the ripe ol’ LEGAL age of 20. This time, Carrie dropped her top for a professional photo shoot … another partially nude gig that she forgot to tell the Miss California officials about. Donald Trump will decide today whether or not he’ll give Carrie the heave ho.

HMMM … yes, these photos are much racier than the first topless photo we saw. It’s interesting that as Prejean was commenting on the moral high ground she failed to mention this new batch of topless photos, even in the wake of the emergence of the first topless photo. See, again, my problem with all of this is that moral superiority ends up focusing the light of scrutiny so squarely on one’s holier-than-thou shoulders (and bared breasts, apparently) that one must be very careful when hurtling morality at other people. So … did the Devil make her pose for these photos? If not, what (according to her) has been his involvement in her life recently? After the jump, read some new comments from Carrie Prejean where she tries to lay blame on Satan’s doorstep for the trials and tribulations in her recent life …

This new batch of topless photos coming to light is all very interesting because Prejean gave an interview to a conservative Christian radio program and confessed that she felt that she was being “tempted by Satan” when she was queried on the issue of same-sex marriage during the Miss USA pageant. Being the fine, upstanding Christian that she claims to be, she says that she knew she was doing the right thing by giving the answer that she did:

Dobson: Why did you give the answer you did with regard to the affirmation of marriage?

Prejean: . . . I felt as though Satan was trying to tempt me in asking me this question. And then God was in my head and in my heart saying, “Do not compromise this. You need to stand up for me and you need to share with all these people . . . you need to witness to them and you need to show that you’re not willing to compromise that for this title of Miss USA.” And I knew right here that it wasn’t about winning. It was about being true to my convictions.

So the question becomes, why was she not being true to her “convictions” when she posed for all of these topless photos? Or, more appropriately in this matter, why did she not hold true to her convictions when this controversy came to light and admit that she had sinned in the past by posing for the photos? This is just my personal opinion but it seems as if her religious convictions only come to light when they serve her purpose. I’ve said all along, none of this topless posing makes her a bad or IMHO a sinful person. But according to the conservative religious standards she is imposing on others, well, she might want to come clean about her indiscretions BEFORE she starts throwing moral stones at others. It remains to be seen what the final outcome of all of this hoopla will be. My guess, she will lose her crown — something I’m sure she’ll be totally fine with — and she will carry on proselytizing to the conservative Christian market (if they’ll have her). It’s proven a successful career track for her thus far … it’d prolly be for the best if it all worked out in that way.

What a good little Christian girl…

  2. Ashley Says:

She should embrace her sexuality and use her publicity to tell the world that boobs are great, not immoral

  3. gokarm Says:

I mean, it’s Miss USA, nobody expected the contestants to be rocket scientists, and it annoys me that this moron’s opinion should even be requested. I’m not going to call her a slut because I personally think people are WAAAAY too uptight about a little nudity. Let’s be honest, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. But her conservative moral view on gay marriage just doesn’t jive with her “open’ relationship with the camera. Personally, I think she lied, and she is probably either for gay marriage or doesn’t really care either way. Probably the latter. She just wanted attention and she got it.

  4. Bleeding Ears Says:

Another check in the box for organized religion – YAY!

  5. Samantha Says:

the thing that bothers me is that i read that she lied about the first pictures…. that she was under 18, but it came out that it was as recent as january because she had her boob job and then she goes on to lie that those were the only partial nude pictures she’s taken. i don’t care one bit that she posed like this but she is acting holier than thou when it’s clear that she should just keep her mouth shut. it still offends me that she is representing my religion because this is why people think that Christians are stuck up and narrow minded… i believe in equality and i think that gay people should have the same rights as straight people. i know plenty of gay people who have children and they should be able to be legally married, it breaks my heart that there are people like Carrie Preejan

  6. iheartmycro Says:

and of course she gets to keep her title. i think vanessa williams should be able to take back her title…..

  7. Mr. Gyllenhaal Says:

I want to know how I get into her church?? Loving marriage is wrong but showing your naked body for money is totally okay. Amoral loser!!

  8. Elle Says:

Okay, I’m sure there are plenty of models out there that take pictures like this, and I’m sure some of them consider themselves Christians. The two CAN go together.

Even Cameron Diaz did topless modeling to try and ‘break out’ into the business. I don’t think people are judging her?

Yes it sucks that Carrie doesn’t agree with equality for all and she is against same-sex marriage. However, she is entitled to her opinions and I have nothing against her. All the bashing on her sure won’t make her change her mind.

  9. wendell Says:

The thing that matters is NOT that she took the photos but that she LIED on her application about them. She has lied TWICE about two sets of photos. Was it so important to be Miss California that she was willing to give up every moral conviction she SUPPOSEDLY had? Hilarious! Turns out she doesn’t have a “Christian” leg to stand on.

  10. CoCo Says:

One word… JEZEBELL… now THAT is “biblically correct”.

  11. Lolly Says:

Oh give me a BREAK. They wouldn’t have cared had she agreed with Perez. They only care because she had an opinion that was different from theirs. This has made her a target. She was STUPID to take these pics, STUPID to lie about them on the application, STUPID to lie about them to the press…but they STILL WOULDN’T HAVE CARED had she shared Perez’s opinion.

  12. lauren Says:

@Ashley… nothing wrong with boobs in my book either… LYING about having taken the photos, on the other hand, is a “sin”, if you believe in those. And I’m not a biblical scholar, but isn’t the 10 Commandments > some random passage in Leviticus?? I’m thinking “God” disapproves of liars way more than of homosexuality, according to the Bible…. (Which I don’t believe anyway)

  13. Katie Says:

I’m pretty this girl ain’t a virgin either–so isn’t that upsetting Jesus too? If she’s gonna stick with one story, she’s gotta follow ALL the rules.

  14. Panti Christ Says:

    No one likes a liar.

  15. shannon Says:

what a looser. if she didn’t have what sudden interest people have in her now, i’m sure she’d still be showing her tits off to make a buck. i hope someone finds some of her making out with another girl. that would be priceless.

  16. Laura Says:

Didn’t North Carolina win Miss USA? why do they keep saying she won?

  17. JaYmes Says:

I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if its wrong or right BWTF Not even an apology to all the Gay and Lesbians she offended?? She’s a universal Fiqure. She needs to get real with her responsibilities!!!

  18. Cinnamon Says:

Donald really shot the image of Miss USA in the foot by allowing a first runner up to lie to the public and violate a contract.

But as Donald believes and has shown many times if you’re rich or really beautiful the rules don’t always apply.

And isn’t that why we all read gossip sites — to see what those rule-breakers will do next?! :)

  19. Jessica Says:

Very nicely said Trent. I agree 100%.

  20. Cristina Says:

I think that one of the biggest misconceptions of Christian’s is that they’re all perfect. They’re not. Not even close. All it means is that they are forgiven for all sin in their lives, past, present and future. Do think that there would be all this fuss about this if Perez had of asked this question to a finalist if she was a Muslim, SIkh, Buddist or any other religion? Probably not.

  21. RazberrySwurl01 Says:

@ Cristina, I totally agree with you reagrding Christians not being perfect, however I think Christians set themselves up for failure by proping themselves up as perfect. I support people’s faith, I think anything that gives people comfort and a sense of connection to the world is important. But what I can’t stand is people who judge others based on the few convenient ideas they decide to pick out of their religion. Why is one thing OK and not the other?

  22. lovelyhapa Says:

I bet if she didn’t state her opinion on gay marriage people wouldn’t care whether she lied on her application or not but now everyone is just trying to find a way to bring her down. Yes she used religion as her reason but that doesn’t make her perfect. I know plenty of religious people who are against gay marriage but aren’t perfect little princesses. Frankly I am an athiest who is against gay marriage myself. First of all everyone get used to the fact that A LOT of Californians are against gay marriage not just Carrie Prejean otherwise how would prop 8 pass with 52% vs 48%. Bringing her down isn’t going to change the mind of those 52%. Frankly I could care less whether she is miss california or not but the fact that she is under this scrutiny mostly because she didn’t lie when asked the marriage question is stupid. I mean she could of said it much more eloquently but people shouldn’t be criticized for choosing not to pacify a whiny blogger like perez hilton. If you hate that california is against gay marriage here’s an idea either move out of california or try to write better legislation and get it passed, otherwise get over it, the people of california voted and this was the results. People should stop giving the miss california pageant so much care because there are much more pressing issues in our society besides whether a pageant queen keeps a crown or not.

  23. yea Says:

if gays want to be respected then they shouldnt bitch like little girls about someone telling them that god created adam and eve not adam and steve

  24. typical Says:

As usual, the people who’s opinions who NO ONE really cares about are blogging here. Including mine. I’m not hear to support Carrie, but to say that she is human, like me, who has obviuosly made mistakes, like ALL OF US!!!!. I love the people who say they hate liars.lol….WELL THEN LOOK IN THE MORROR, CUZ WE ALL ARE. We have ALL lied in our life. Does that mean I should be slandered and ALSO Lied about? I am a Christain and I am FAR from perfect. Being a Christian doesn’t make anyone perfect. Being a Christian just means you have a belief and faith in Jesus Christ. Nowhere doesn’t it say that when you become a Christian that you all of a sudden are sinless and perfect. As a Christian we should all sin less, but no one is sinless. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her answer to the question about gay marriage. And there are plenty of people who will and have agreed with her, and plenty who haven’t. It just seems funny that just because she stood up for her faith and what SHE believes that she’s now this huge target. We can all blog till Jesus comes back, but it isn’t gonna change anything. I do feel sorry for the people without faith in Jesus. I hope and pray they have an opportunity one day to surrender to him.

I wish she was bootomless too!!!

  26. inherbut Says:
