‘The Princess And The Frog’ Gets A Movie Trailer

Sealed Frogged with a Kiss
Sunday, May 10th, 2009

The first full movie trailer for Walt Disney’s new animated film The Princess and the Frog isn’t due to hit theaters until Disney’s new computer animated film UP! opens in theaters. But, the trailer has made its way to the Internets for our early viewing pleasure after it aired on the Disney Channel this weekend. Here are a few screencaps from this new trailer for The Princess and the Frog:

My knowledge of the tale of The Princess and the Frog isn’t the best but it looks to me like Disney may be changing up the storyline a bit for their version of the tale. After the jump, check out the movie trailer in full and see what I’m talking about …

‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Possibly Releases Posters For Jacob, Bella & Edward

The real deals?
Sunday, May 10th, 2009

This past Thursday we saw a movie poster of a very shirtless Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black from the new movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon that was initially believed to be an official movie poster. It turns out that the poster was merely a fan creation (of Taylor Lautner’s head on a Brazilian models shirtless body). Today, we finally get to see the movie poster featuring Jacob Black purported to be the official poster … along with purported new posters for both Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as well. First up, here is Jacob’s new poster:

While this photo is still very cool, I think it would have much more appeal if it featured Jacob after his haircut and without his shirt (ie. they should’ve emulated the fan made poster). Tho, on the other hand, I can appreciate how the New Moon folks might not want to be giving it all away so soon. Hopefully we’ll get a different more half-nekkid poster later on down the line. After the jump, check out the new movie posters for Bella and Edward

‘Cherry Pop’ping Daddies

The TV Guide
Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Yesterday was a very nice, very relaxing day for David and me here at home. We spent much of the day just chillin’ and hangin’ out. I did do some computer upgrading last night which is very exciting for me … while I still love my touchscreen HP desktop computer for home, it looks like I’m gonna be going 100% Mac when I’m on the road with my new laptop. It feels really good to be back on a Mac again after so many years. It turns out that David’s friend Dave is visiting LA this weekend so we hosted him and his friends at our place last night for a small cocktail party. Josh came over and we hung out for a bit before we made our way to Cherry Pop for their 1 year anniversary:

To be honest, I’ve had better nights at Cherry Pop but dancing with David and Josh made it worthwhile. We ran into a lot of folks that we hadn’t seen in a while so … meh, it was a fun night out. To be honest, tho, I think last night cemented our desire to stay home and celebrate all on our own ;)

Plans for today include software installation, watching Game 5 of the Detroit Red Wings vs. the Anaheim Ducks and possibly dinner with Darion and Kirsten. I hope y’all are having a great weekend and, once again, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there ;)

Weekend Hotness
Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Huzzah!! It is time once again to feast our eyes and gawk & gander at the Hot Dude of the Week. Folks here in SoCal are flocking to the beaches in droves this weekend to take advantage of the beautiful weather so I thought it would be apropos to feature a Hot Dude enjoying the sun and surf beachstyle … and so, without further ado, say hello to Steve J:

Click HERE to see more pictures of Steve J.
Oh yes … it’s photos like this that make me yearn for more time at the beach. You can just imagine how a big wave like this might possibly whip off the loose bathing trunks that a guy like Steve J. might be wearing. HMMM. I deffo need to spend more time at the beach.

Also, the official site for All American Guys has been updated with some more info about their upcoming 10th Anniversary Party that will be held here in SoCal next month. I am happy to announce that I will be participating in the night’s festivities and am really hoping that some of y’all will come out to help celebrate 10 years of hawt All American Guys with us!! Click HERE for more deets on the shindig and hopefully I’ll see you there. I, for one, cannot wait … all those Hot Dudes in one place? Yes, please!

Dakota Fanning Surfaces In Vancouver With The ‘New Moon’ Gang

Jane says
Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Dakota Fanning, who has been cast to play the Volturi vampire Jane in the upcoming film The Twilight Saga: New Moon, has finally made her way to Vancouver, BC Canada to begin filming her scenes for the movie. Earlier this week Dakota was spotted in the company of Rachelle Lefevre who plays the badgirl vamp Victoria in the film (a role she originated in Twilight) making their way out to the Blue Water Cafe for a quick bite to eat together:

And so … at long last … Dakota has joined in the fun in Vancouver where various New Moon castmembers have been making the city their playground. I expect that Dakota will be showing up around town about as much as the other castmembers have been (ie. on a semi-daily basis) but it remains to be seen if she will be sparking up any onset romances while she is in town. I’m not sure who is available but do YOU think that Dakota will be hooking up with a nice young man so that we can all talk about it? If so … who?

Megan Fox Discusses Plot Points Of ‘High School Musical’

"Let me tell you what it's really about."
Sunday, May 10th, 2009

Megan Fox, who is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Esquire magazine, makes a bold comment on what she thinks the essential plot point of the hugely successful Disney film franchise High School Musical is all about. In her estimation, the film revolves around more than just a few tweens running around their high school merrily singing with one another … she sees a more insidious tale bubbling underneath the surface. Here is Megan’s take on what High School Musical is “really about” as told in her coverstory interview with Esquire mag:

In the June issue of Esquire, on newsstands May 10, Megan Fox explains the true meaning of ‘High School Musical.’ “Let me tell you what it’s really about. ‘High School Musical’ is about this group of boys who are all being molested by the basketball coach, who is Zac Efron’s dad. It’s about them struggling to cope with this molestation. And they have these little girlfriends, who are their beards. Oh, and somehow there’s music involved,” the ‘Transformers’ beauty says. Fox adds, “You have to get stoned and watch it.” We wonder if she’s speaking from experience.

Hahahaha! Well, that is quite an opinion. It’s clear that Megan is trying to make herself seem edgy by taking this shot at a very successful tween movie franchise. I suppose she feels cool, like an older kid who picks on a younger kid in the schoolyard. I dunno if this comment makes her cool but it does enlighten a bit about how the woman thinks. Perhaps it’s best that she keeps smiling for the cameras rather than offering other movie commentary. Then again, is there anyone out there who doesn’t see that she may be on to something? HMMM.
