Newlyweds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have only been married for 2 weeks but the new bride is already hiding her face in shame … HMMM. Speidi made their exit from a SoCal eatery this weekend and Heidi was snapped uncharacteristically covering up her face so that she couldn’t be photographed. Could she be having second thoughts about becoming Mrs. Spencer Pratt?

There aren’t many things that Heidi Montag does that really surprises me (the least of which is the rumor that she may be interested in posing for Playboy magazine) but shying away from being photographed in public? Yeah, that’s some extremely strange behavior, y’all. Mebbe poor Heidi was hiding a heinous blemish or something cuz I’m really having a hard time believing that she was actually trying to avoid being photographed. I suppose it’s in the realm of possibility that the newly married couple have turned over a new leaf and are henceforth planning on keeping a low profile out of the public eye in an effort to live their lives in private … right? Why do YOU think Heidi is suddenly so shy?

It was recently reported that Amy Winehouse suffered a collapse due to “dehydration” while enjoying her latest extended stay on the Caribbean isle of St. Lucia late last week but, according to other reports, managed to escape hospitalization after her recovery to frolic and play on the beaches once again … it is also be reported that she went straight back to hittin’ the bottle. I used to think that her escape to St. Lucia was a good thing for Amy but has she brought her wild ways with her to the island?

From AFP: Grammy-winning singer Amy Winehouse was taken to hospital during her prolonged holiday in St Lucia after fainting, her spokesman said on Saturday. The 25-year-old “Back to Black” and “Rehab” songstress was kept in for a night for observation after tests showed she was dehydrated. Her publicist Chris Goodman said: “She fainted at home (in St Lucia) and they took her in for observation, mainly to do with her medication to check everything was OK. They told her that she was dehydrated and needed to drink more water.” Winehouse had been “running around” with a group of children before she passed out, he said. The singer has had a well-publicised struggle with drugs, but has appeared to have been in improved health in recent months after turning her back on the London party scene and holing up on the Caribbean island.

After collapsing from “dehydration” at her holiday villa on Thursday, Wino spent a night under observation. But as soon as doctors gave her the all-clear, off she went boozing at the plush Le Sport resort for much of the weekend. The Back To Black singer has her first performance in months later this week at the St Lucia Jazz Festival — and her involvment has sent tickets to an all-time high. Here she is enjoying a beverage with a friend — simply rehydrating her vocal cords, of course.

If Amy is really back to skipping around and practicing her Karate Kid moves as these pictures suggest then her fainting spell was prolly not that big of a deal. The fact that she was hospitalized is telling but, again, if she didn’t end up staying under medical supervision for long then her collapse might not have been anything to worry about. I’m gonna keep hoping that Amy‘s move to St. Lucia really is good for her and that her life is somewhat back on track. She always looks so happy when she’s playing on the beaches of St. Lucia … it’d really be a shame if she started self-destructing again. Keep it clean, Amy … we kinda don’t want you to die.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard made it official on Saturday: The longtime couple, who have a daughter together, tied the knot in a romantic wedding in Italy. “We are happy to confirm that Maggie and Peter were married on Saturday, May 2,” the actress’s rep said in a statement to PEOPLE. The celebration took place in a small chapel in Brindisi, according to European news reports. Among the guests were Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon … In March, Gyllenhaal celebrated her impending nuptials with a bridal shower attended by friends, including Witherspoon, a source tells PEOPLE. Gyllenhaal, 31, and Sarsgaard, 38, are parents to daughter Ramona, 2 ½. The couple announced their pregnancy and engagement exclusively to PEOPLE in 2006 after being together for more than four years. The pair costarred in 2003′s In God’s Hands, a low-budget feature produced by Steven Soderbergh.

I have to say that I really believed that GyllenGaard was one of those couples (like Brangelina, for instance) that I never thought would get hitched. They seemed like the kind of couple that seemed totally uninterested in legalizing their relationship and were happy with their own personal commitment to one another. A three year engagement is a long one … I’m happy to know that they finally decided to go thru with their wedding. While it’s very nice that Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon were in attendance at his sister’s nuptials, I hope they didn’t get any funny ideas from the ceremony. In any event, much love and congrats goes out to the happy couple! May they live a long and healthy life together in happily wedded bliss!
