Why The Bloody Lip, Ali Lohan?
Earlier this week the newly single Lindsay Lohan was spotted enjoying a fairly raucous night on the town with her mother Dina Lohan and her 15 year old little sister Aliana Lohan as the trio hit up the SLS Hotel here in LA and reportedly partied until about 3AM. Taking a closer look at the photos from that night, I noted that little Ali was rockin’ a pretty serious injury on her lower lip …
… which could mean any one of a number of things — for example, mebbe Ali bit her lip earlier in the day? Perhaps she got socked in the mouth while roughhousing with her little brother Cody Lohan? I suppose the possibilities are endless … what do YOU suppose is the cause for this 15 year old girl to be stricken with this unfortunate bloody lip? Thoughts?

Btw, I think it’s just a classic case of chapped lips that caused the bleeding. Nothing more than that.

The Lohan parents are some of the best examples of irresponsible parenting to hit the tabloids in some time. I feel bad for the Lohan kids because it looks like they never stood a chance….partying until 3AM with your troubled daughters, one of whom is 15 y.o., come the f*** on.

@K – absolutely typical of herpes simplex infection! i’m with you and i’m a doctor so i know! :)
@Ful – if you look more closely, you’ll notice the entire rest of her lips look fine and NOT chapped – when was the last time you saw someone with “classic” isolated spots of chapped lips that then bled…nope! It’s def. herpes! and BIG DEAL – almost everyone has been infected with this extremely common virus that can manifest this way and NOOOOOO it does not mean she is afflicted with genital herpes!

A lot of people get the herp on their mouth area without knowing they have it/not from kissing or other sexual activity. Isn’t that the most common source of cold sores? Hello! Leave the poor girl alone before she ends up like her older sister. The paparazzi don’t really care about Ali, let’s leave it that way.

It’s probably a cold sore guys. A lot of people get them and it’s not only caused by putting your mouth on someone or something unsavory. I get them and I am certainly glad that I am not in a position where people can put it on a blog and talk about it like she is a freak of nature. Those things are bad enough without them being the topic of conversation. Lets remember she is 15 years old.
That said, Ful, I feel the public’s desire to lose themselves in a celebrity’s life is what seems to have paparazzi all over celebs like white on rice and what consequently causes a star to go a bit apeshit. It’s supply and demand situation and unfortunately there is a very high demand. We are all part of it because we’re all here. As far as Ali Lohan, let’s remember she is 15 years old and being raised by a woman who already screwed up her first daughter. That girl has bigger problems than a cold sore and a blog.

for everyone who says “herpes” – yes! it is herpes and @Elle – yes god forbid the rest of us suffer the same public ridicule when we get the common herpes infection…for all of you folks – Canker sores/cold sores is the layman’s term for herpes simplex on the lip and it can and does happen in the middle of a lip, also the corners – and NO that is not what chapped lips look like when we “peel” away the dry skin…DUH!

Cold sore. And I have to go along with others, just because she has a cold sore doesn’t mean there was sex/making out etc involved. I got my first cold sore when I was 2 from my Aunt who kissed me(or something like that) while she had one, and I’ve gotten atleast one every year since. Those things suck. Back to Ali, hope the press leaves her alone, or else she’s got no chance at being a normal adult with parents like that.
