Fashionista extraordinaire Victoria Beckham was spotted on a shopping excursion to Dolce & Gabbana in Milan, Italy this week and homegirl was rockin’ a set of ridiculously odd shoulder pads on her person. Not since the days of Designing Women have we seen such an atrocity against fashion … behold:
I understand the jacket with the funky shoulder pads is from the design house of Balmain, which is like a totally way important designer and stuff but, c’mon … the pad have to be a joke, right? I can’t believe that any person in their right mind would really want to rock this look. VB, on the other hand, has the luxury of doing ridiculous things for fashion because it’s bound to make a splash. This jacket looks … silly. Any article of clothing that requires that you turn sideways to walk thru a doorway has got to GO. Nice try, tho, Posh.

IT’S FASHION!! trent, i’m a bit suprised @ u w/ this 1….from a fashion standpoint, the jacket is HOT!! c’mon now….its not really meant to be worn “out” like that cuz its more “art” than Fashion…..ev’ry1 knows how VB is and has to be one of the 1st to wear the new “it” thing…..best believed, i bet these shoulder pad “rocker/motorcylist style” leather jackets will b wearing come fall…..TRUST ME! :)

I’ve noticed that this season’s hottest fashion lines have also been coming out with shoulder-pad inspired clothing on the runway…I think VB knows exactly that this is the case and I applaud it…I actually happen to love those shoulder pads for her look. It’s fashion remember, and yes it comes in full circle!
