Lindsay Lohan was spotted doing a bit of shopping with her little sister Ali Lohan on Melrose Ave. yesterday afternoon and I couldn’t help but notice how much thinner she looks in the pics. I love Lindsay very much so these pics are a bit troubling … they seem all too familiar from the time when she was rail-thin, with bones protruding a few years ago. Since her SkeletwinsTM days, Lindsay had recouped her curves and looked to be back to a relatively healthy weight. These days, tho, those curves seem to be no more:
The Mean Girls actress looked skinnier than ever as she hit LA’s Melrose Avenue for an afternoon of retail therapy with her younger sister Ali. Her cream halter-neck sundress hung off her rail-thin frame with the cut-away back revealing her protruding ribcage and sinewy arms. The 22-year-old looked on edge during the outing, clutching a can of Coca-Cola and biting her finger nails as she stopped to try on reading glasses at an optometrist. Lindsay’s weight has yo-yoed dramatically over the years from buxom to skeletal.
Nothing about this is a laughing or joking matter. It absolutely pains me to see Lindsay look frail. Whether or not you think she is a talented actress, she absolutely has a je ne sais quoi? about her that makes her an endearing person. It is very sad that she no longer looks happy now that she is separated from Samantha Ronson (and let’s be honest, she looked very happy with Sam when they were together) but it’s even sadder to think that she might not be taking her health into consideration. Believe me, I realize that my assertions are based on huge assumptions but there can be no denying that she looks much thinner. I hope, for her sake, that she realizes that she looks so much better when she’s healthy and curvy.

She was looking close to this skinny even when she was with Sam..She’s been looking unhealthy for quite a while..Ali is a thin girl but she looks almost kind of thick next to Lindsay! Creepy!

That relationship with Sam was bad news for her. She seems like a tempermental person with some serious mental health problems. I think it looks pretty clear that she is drinking and on drugs again. I think her career may be over.

I agree with Anna…she has been looking pretty skinny for a while…and I do think she has been abusing substances.

I think I heard on the radio that she was out at a nightclub ordering drinks…? I feel for Lindsay. I wish we could go back to her Mean Girls days. That was the Lindsay I loved!

Oh my, she really is horribly skinny!
She really needs to get help, being that skinny is not beautiful she just looks unhealthy. Hopefully she’ll come to her senses soon and get the help that she obviously needs.
I saw the old SNL LL did and it’s so tragic where she is now
shes been gettin like that for awhile. it saddens me, cause no one wants to step in and help her. she doesnt seem to have anyone in her life she can turn too. her family is a mess and the last place she should too for help, and what stabe friends or other relationships does she have? i really hope she gets some help.
i think it’s mostly the unhealthy lifestyle and partying she does. a relationship can take a toll but this has always b een a problem post mean girls.
I don’t find her the least bit endearing (or talented) but I still don’t like to see anyone look like this. Hope she gets herself back on the right track.
I find it hard to equate this woman with the talented little girl who starred in The Parent Trap. Such a shame.
She looks disgusting and she looks to be about 45 years old. NOT cute.
I think she does have talent, but talented or not, EVERYONE has to work hard to keep that up. If you don’t, it dims and you get movies like I Know Who Killed Me. It does appear that she has been doing drugs for a while, if she ever really gave them up. I don’t feel sorry for her, because she has squandered her opportunities at every turn (like her behavior on the Ugly Betty set that cut her role short). Yes, she has a bad family to deal with, but at some point you become an adult and make decisions for yourself…and accept the consequences. I hope she gets better, but I dont’ see that happening until she “un-spoils” herself.
I don’t think she wants to live. Marilyn Monroe is her idol, who died young. She keeps putting her body through reckless weight loss, coke, and alcohol. Her family is so fame hungry. Her body shows that not only has she lost her care to work, she’s lost her care to live a good healthy life, and probably her care to live.
It’s sad, but there are several people in this world that have had nothing and become great human beings. She has no excuse.
She needs to put some substance in her tummy instead of just up her nose!! When you consider that the camera adds a bunch of weight (true–celebs look TINY in person), this is really awful. Her momma needs to send her back to rehab.
