Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Bump Watch Begins
Last Friday we learned the happy news that Sarah Michelle Gellar and hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. are pregs with their first child (6 years into their marriage) and today we get our first grainy, not-so-spectacular-but-we’ll-take-what-we-get first look at SMG out and about in public showing off her burgeoning baby bump. Here is a screenshot of a short video of SMG at The Grove in LA with a friend of hers over the weekend … you will note that her friend is pushing a baby carriage:
SMG is notorious for staying out of the spotlight and rarely shows up in public to be photographed … so mebbe this trip to The Grove is a signal that she plans to be more visible as her pregnancy continues. In any event, I am very much looking forward to seeing more of SMG out and about and I’m really anxious to watch her bump grow. She doesn’t look very big in this grainy screenshot at all … but it’s unclear if her bump looks nonexistent because the video quality sucks or because she is still very early in her pregnancy. HMMM … hard to tell. But, hopefully, we’ll have photographic proof SOON that her bump actually exists. Can’t wait!!
UPDATE: Here are a couple photos from SMG’s trip to The Grove that show more clearly that her bump is beginning to show:
She’s even pushing the baby carriage in the second pic … way to get in the practice, SMG :)

Oh yeah! I definitely see a bump at about 8 seconds. :) She’s tiny, and remember those “bloated” bikini shots we saw a few years back? It could be baby bump here or just the shirt, but I’m pretty sure that since they haven’t denied it, and since People is already talking about it, they’re expecting. :)

Oh yea I see it at 8secs too. How far along is she again? Because she looks like shes as far along as Nicole Richie, than again it could be some gust of wind that got up in there, so it looks bigger.
Im excited for her! 6yrs is about the same time I waited to have my 1st child as well.

I really like this couple, mainly because they keep their private life PRIVATE, unlike every other couple in H’Wood. They don’t Twitter every time they go to the bathroom or call the paps when they run to get a latte’. They seem comfortable enough as they are and I really admire them for that. The fact that they’ve been married so long by celebrity standards speaks volumes! Good luck and congratulations, Freddie and Sarah!!
