Rihanna was spotted doing a bit of shopping on Melrose Ave. here in SoCal yesterday afternoon and it sure looked like she was rockin’ an outfit that she pilfered from Michael Jackson‘s auction closet:
Funny, I was under the impression that the court ruled that the Jacko auction would be halted and that he would be able to keep his crap. I guess sneaky Ri Ri managed to get her mits on one of his jackets after all. Yeah, not a good look for her … or anyone for that matter. She gets a resounding Poop Sandwich from me!!

I know alot of people don’t know ( or maybe they don’t care) why michael fought so hard to keep his stuff, but in 2002 his family lost a bunch of his memorabilia from his jackson 5 and thriller days and it was seized and taken by a creditor( henry vacarro, you can look it up on youtube) mj didn’t bail the family out, but alot of their stuff was taken, their memories, so Im sure he didn’t want that to happen to the rest of his stuff he has kept. They didn’t take his legendary silver glove though, lol
Rihanna slicked down baby hair is totally reminiscent of early 90′s mj as well.. is that the new thing people are trying to look like mj( Im not sure I get that at all) but I agree with you Trent this look isn’t working for her, and nobodt but mj ever rocked this stuff, so Im not feeling it now, it was more like his 80′s thing, ( like prince and his platforms, bells and pirate shirts)
Honestly, I’d die for that Balmain jacket! But her hair’s pretty messed up. The only thing worse than a mullet is a mullet-esw thing gone beyond wrong.
@Caroline — I have an old Drum Major jacket I could sell ya real cheap, looks just like this … and comes with a tall hat with a feather!

If this picture was taking from a different angle without the accidental mullet from the woman behind her… it might not be too bad. Hopefully she does grow her hair out a couple more inches she looks way better with a bit longer hair.
The outfit’s great. The hair’s horrible. She could look so much more sophisticated and less Michael Jackson-esque if she just got rid of that hair style.

I like her look in general. I really do hope that’s a person behind her and not her hair. Mullet , bleeech! Not everyone can pull off a jacket like that, but I think Rhianna is probably the only one who can.

Balmain jackets are the IT thing of the moment in the fashion world. I see at least four or five imitations styled jackets walking down the streets of New York EVERY DAY.
I’m not really here nor there about them, but I do like how structured they are.
Balmain are going to be mad, first Victoria Beckham gives it the kiss of death, then beyonce and now rhianna does the same all wearing their jackets. So so wrong.
Hopefully, she can scare off Chris Brown this way.
