The show managed to raise over $1,500 for the Metro TeensAIDS organization which does HIV/AIDS outreach in the Washington, DC area — Melissa sends in a pic of her sweet Labrador/Shepherd/Hound/Spaniel mix pup (which she rescued from SPCA) named Annie MUTTilda:

Please I am buying a new LAPTOP this week and I wanted to know what everyone thinks in their opinion what I should get!!
I want to spend 800.00-1000.00 but I may go over that it depends !!its really hard for my to decide.

Michelina – I don’t know too much about computers, but the HPs my family’s had have taken a BEATING and are still kicking.

@Michelina — I’ll throw my support behind HP. I’ve had many HP computers and they have all been great machines. Never had one break or malfunction and their prices are crazy reasonable.
I love my Macbook. I just bought it in October and I haven’t had any complaints since.
@ Trent I have heard a lot of good things about HP laptops do you have an HP laptop? If not what brand laptop do you have? What type of HP laptop is the best?
@Michelina — my last HP laptop was a Pavilion dv1000 but they’ve since upgraded the laptop series significantly. I just bought the HP touchscreen desktop computer last month and I love it. I’m not sure which of the HP laptops are out right now but it has been my experience that all of the HP machines i’ve ever purchased have been great. HP is inexpensive enough for you to get all the specs you require (harddrive size, RAM speed, size) at a reasonable price. I say, play around with the computers on display at Best Buy and see which one feels right for you.
I recently went out looking for a new laptop and was also told by multiple people that HP’s were really good.
