Michael Jackson & Kids Can’t Mask Their Love Of Shopping
Now that everyone is worried about contracting the swine flu from going out in public it’s not too surprising to see folks wearing surgical masks these days … so mebbe Michael Jackson thought it would be the perfect opportunity to don is fave mask and take his children — Prince Michael Jackson, Paris Michael Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson, II a.k.a. Blanket — out for a shopping excursion on Melrose Ave. yesterday. Perhaps he thought he might be able to avoid detection by blending it with the other masked shoppers … and he almost got away with it if it weren’t for those fancy red pants he was wearing. Here are a few pics:
Michael Jackson caused a stir in West Hollywood yesterday as he took his three children on a shopping spree. The eccentric pop star enjoyed a chaotic visit to the Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier store with seven-year-old Prince Michael II (known as Blanket), 11-year-old Paris and 12-year-old Prince Michael in tow. The 50-year-old’s children donned school uniforms for the trip and kept their faces covered up with flamboyant carnival masks as they shopped inside. Jackson also opted for the school look and sported a green blazer and red baggy trousers with his trademark surgical mask. After spending over an hour inside the store, the group left the premises while an aide carried their numerous purchases. It was a rare public family outing for the Jackson clan. The star has gone to great lengths to ensure that his children are protected from the media glare and the youngsters’ faces have only been pictured once. Jackson has been locked away in recent months as he rehearses for his 50-night comeback tour at London’s O2 arena this summer.
I always thought it was counterproductive for Jacko to insist that his children wear masks when they go out in public. As I understand it, Jacko wants his kids to wear disguises so that they won’t be targeted by kidnappers. It seems to me that if someone wanted to kidnap his children, they’d know exactly which kids to target … the only kids wearing brightly feathered masks. If you look closely at the insignias on the uniform jackets the kids are wearing, it appears that the logo is an MJ crest of some sort. Clearly, these children are getting the best education possible at the Michael Jackson School of Scholastics. It is so hard not to feel bad for these kids … I cannot even imagine how odd their lives must be.

I just realized that his kids are really white and although he has dyed himself white you would think they kids would have darker complexions or curlier darker hair or something?

What kind of a life is that? he is an unfit parent, they should be taken away from this freak, everytime I see a photo of them, my heart sinks, these kids were essentially made for hin to fuck around with….
Just because the court says you’re not guilty, doesn’t mean that you are innocent, just sayin…

What a CREEP! Why does he go out in public dressed like that with his kids??Its clearly not to “disguise” himself because it is more of a uniform that always draws attention. I truly feel sorry for those kids, because biological parent or not, MJ owns them and they are a part of his weird little world.

@MeGs- I agree. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out when they get a little older and want normal lives, real interaction with other kids and relationships. I can only hope their experiences to date have not given them a flase sense of what’s normal.

Re: the kids biological father….Does anyone else remember the last court case? I seem to recall that when Macaulay Culkin was called to testify there was an deal reached that they weren’t allowed to ask him about the paternity of the kids? Prince I looked so much like a young Mac in that pic of him out a window a few years ago….just sayin’.

There were alot of fascinating and very interesting items at the Julien’s Michael Jackson Neverland Valley Ranch auction. Much better than Graceland and I am surprised that someone didn’t purchase the whole lot to do just that. Not as much tacky stuff as you would imagine. The FX molds of his face are very different to say the least.

those poor kids… that MJ crest thing is so creepy, but that’s probably nothing compared to the insanity of their everyday lives… i can’t even imagine the kinds of psychological disorders they’re going to have/already have. i wonder what’s going to happen when they all turn 18?

You don’t know much about mixed race people, if you don’t know that they all look different, their skin being pale has nothing to do with it( alot of mixed race people who are part black have very fair skin, like a medium to olive complextion). Blanket for sure does look like a young Michael, look up pics of blanket on google and pics of MJ when he was a kid ( jackson 5 era) , Blanket is his biological child for sure( no clue who the birth mother of that one is) but debbie rowe is the mother of the other two( I’m not for sure if MJ is the birth father of those two, but I haven’t seen very clear pics of them either, Trent had one up of Blanket last year where you could see his face( on their first trip to that LA comic book store) and for sure he looks like pre surgery MJ.
Why the children’s hair is straight was the surprising thing to me, but Quincy Jones kids have straight hair ( well rashida does, and she looks very caucasion compared to alot of other biracial folks)

just had a thought, maybe Mj is relaxing( chemically straightening) the kids hair, I mean he wore an afro in the 70’s but he knows what a perm is, dude is black and raised by a black mother, maybe he wanted them to have straight hair too. just a thought. Yeah the school uniforms are an odd choice, but everything Mike does is pretty much odd, I think he lives inside his head, and when a person lives completely inside their heads the way he does now, I think people who live in the real world cannot make since of it because it makes no since. Im pretty sure something happened to him that’s never been talked about( Im not talking about his childhood fame or the abuse of his father, we already know that stuff), something bigger had to have occured b/c dude is fucked up now. I can’t imagine what kind of adults his kids will be, I’m sure they won’t be what is considered normal.

these kids must be soooooo screwed up in the head! I mean totally nuts, how can they possibly know what reality is??? They were born into Wacko Jacko’s bizarre lifestyle and that’s all they know of!! It will be interesting to see when these kids are older and can think for themselves and MJ can no longer control them like he does. I find it kinda ironic that all of MJ’s life he has said that he just wanted to grow up as a normal kid and enjoy life like a normal child and that his father was controlling and he has had issues with this all his life growing up. And now MJ is doing the same thing to his kids, except way more extreme!! Its almost an abuse of some sort the way he makes these poor kids live like this in his bizarre world…..

It’s interesting to see how much your tone has changed since Michael passed away. Now you’re all sympathetic and kind but this entry? Not so much. Oh, and “Jacko”? What are you, a tabloid?
Debbie Rowe has said she saw the ransom notes threatening to kidnap her and Mike’s children so he had every right to protect his children’s identities how he saw fit. How would you like it if you had children and the media analyzed whether your kids were “okay” or not?
