Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson Are Dunzo!
After initially telling US Weekly that she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson had not broken up in the wake of the drama they went thru this past weekend, Lindsay Lohan finally admits to E! News that the couple are, in fact, taking a break (and we all know what that means). But, it seems that Samantha was the one who did the initial breaking-up when she reportedly banned Lindsay from attending the I Heart Ronson party at the Chateau Marmont on Friday night. To be completely honest, altho I was at that party, I saw no evidence nor heard any chatter about the reported drama that was said to have occurred. I must’ve gotten to the party too late to witness any of the drama that, it now appears, was the first sign that the girls had broken up. According to People magazine, Samantha’s family and friends are hoping that the couple remain broken up … which is bummer news to me cuz I really loved L. Ron as a couple. But, as we all know, many couples go thru lots of drama behind the scenes. Mebbe it’s for the best? All we know for sure is that the couple are now dunzo!
Lindsay Lohan and her celebrity deejay girlfriend Samantha Ronson have split – and this time, Ronson’s family hopes it sticks, a source tells PEOPLE. “Sam’s family has made her swear that it’s really over,” a friend of Lohan and Ronson’s tells PEOPLE. “They are giving her all the support they can to keep her away from Lindsay.” Adds another source close to Ronson: “Lindsay is going to try and twist the situation in her favor, but Sam clearly left her, not the other way around.” Lohan herself spoke out on Monday telling E! news, “We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.” Meanwhile, Lohan has reportedly written several messages on her private Twitter page alleging Ronson’s infidelity and drug use led to their breakup. In one message, the actress wrote, “You broke my heart. Now go away. I loved you.” The on-again off-again pair have not been spotted publicly together in recent days, while Lohan has been a fixture on the L.A. scene, stopping into Chateau Marmont with her sister Ali on April 1, and even jumping on stage to sing along with Lily Allen during the British pop star’s concert the following night at the Wiltern. Over the weekend, Ronson changed the locks on her house, a friend of the pair confirms. “Sam changed the locks on her house,” the source tells PEOPLE. “Lindsay moved her stuff out as much as she could. She’s basically totally out of the house as far as her stuff and she’s not living there anymore.” Adds the source: “Lindsay was pretty devastated.” This weekend, Lohan attempted to get into the “I Heart Ronson” bash at Bar Marmont in West Hollywood – an event celebrating Charlotte Ronson’s clothing line and deejayed by Samantha Ronson. “Lindsay was banned from the event and was trying to enter from all ends,” says a source. “Sam did not want her there.” The next night, Lohan hit up other hot spots including the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. According to a paparazzo, who spotted the star at McDonalds later in the night, “Lindsay kept hiding her face in her hands … One second she would scream that we were scaring her and the next she started rambling about how much she loves Samantha.”
Oh, lawd!! Drama, thy name is L. Ron. I suppose we shouldn’t be too surprised that this volatile relationship had to go Bang! at some point. I honestly really liked these two as a couple. If you think about it, the last year that they were together was fairly drama-free. No one was arrested and no major incidents really occurred. As soon as Linds started hanging out with her mom, the cops have to go and get involved. In the end, I’m pretty sure that Samantha is going to be just fine … she’s always managed to do her thang and stay out of trouble. She seems to have a very stable family unit that cares very much for her. Lindsay, on the other hand, has no such stability in her life … and because of this break-up, might’ve lost the very stability that has kept her out of trouble for so long. No relationship is perfect and I’m sure we’d be shocked to learn all the downsides of this couple’s love affair … but in the end, when hearts are broken it’s always sad news. Ah well … twas good while it lasted. L. Ron you will be missed.

Bummer – between the “I heart Ronson” lockout and the actual lockout, I had a sneaking suspicion they might really be done. I hate all breakups! (I’m still holding out for Britney and Justin to get back together…)

@Mariah – I don’t think it matters. There are people who have no preference concerning gender when it comes to sexual orientation. Anne Hesche was a case as well.

no no no this is just so heartbreaking i adore these to they are too good.they have to deal with so much pressure form the paps following them 24/7 a very disturbing video example on x17 and they have to deal with family issues also work.they have such a difficult life but they still cam over so much and thats because they love each other like crazy. i am pretty sure they will get back together they are so meant to be together.lindsay needs stability,love and somone to guide her and samantha needs someone to love her dearly and uncoditionally.they will still be in each others life one way or the other has they were friedns since way before 2005 and thats 4 years ago so they will still be in touch.i am praying and wishing they get back together the most cutest couple .love you rohan forever thansk for posting and trent its not l.Ron the correct name is rohan given officaly by th fan websites.

Lindsay is out of control, using and drinking and, I have heard, taking financial advantage of Sam. This is an unhealthy relationship. Sam was the best thing to happen to Lindsay in a long time IMO. But Lindsay is too out of control and immature to be ready for it.

I really can’t say I’m at all shocked by this… we were forever hearing about major blow-ups they were having. (New Years anyone?) Lindsay seems a tab bit unstable so maybe it’s for the best… she should work out her own problems and issues first. I did like them together but I gotta say again I’m not suprised.

Milo and Hayden were completely different as they were dating for 2 years and Hayden is 19 Milo started seeing her the day she turned 18( she might even have been 17) that’s kind of odd, he was waiting for her to turn 18 basically and he’s 31 years old. Lindsay is 21 and was never romantically involved with sAM UNTIL after she wasn’t a teenager, as Hayden still is a teen, so it’s going to be looked at differently. Seems to me baroness you just like to cause problems, shit stirrer. Go do that at Perez’s site or something stop trying to pick on Trent.

While I liked them as a couple(I think they were interesting!), I don’t think they were good for each other. Lately it seemed like they kept having very public fights and honestly, Linds just needs to focus on getting her career back..so she can actually make some money and be independent.

I hope Sam’s OK – It would have been really hard for her to finally do this. Lindsay is obviously very dependent and going through some serious stuff. It’s time Hollywood (and other actors) started showing Lindsay some love – and support. How long do you punish someone for doing stupid things when they were young? I fear Lindsay will end up dead … unlike Sam, she doesn’t have genuine family support behind her. Only people who see her as a meal ticket.

Trent, I have NEVER understood why, being a gay man, you always supported this coupling – you must know Lindsay would never stay gay – she will be with a man next – she makes a mockery of the gay community. You of all people should ignore her like the Ronsons are trying to do. The Ronsons are a cool family & Sam has never tried to be anything other than what she is.
Also, you’ve also turned a blind eye to Lindsay’s drinking and using – I mean c’mon!

This relationship was way too high profile to really last. I know that wasn’t necesarily any of the girls fault, but it still makes a relationship difficult to maintain.
Hopefully Lindsay will be able to maintain stable after this and not have any major setbacks.

Sorry, stay gay wasn’t the right wording. I just believe that Lindsay is a very confused soul and I *guess* she is bi-sexual but I’m not sure she even knows what she is.
I just think she’s a bad poster child for all the good things the gay community is trying to do – especially legalizing gay marriage. I hope that better explains what I was trying to say.
