Linda Hogan Speaks, Admits Fear Of Hulk Hogan
Issues a statement in response to Hulk's outrageous comments

After Hulk Hogan (née Terry Bollea) gave an interview to Rolling Stone magazine where he made the following comments about his ex-wife Linda (Hogan) Bollea:

“I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat. You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife . . . I totally understand OJ. I get it.”

Linda is speaking out by issuing an official statement denouncing the outrageous comments made by Hogan, admitting that she is taking his comments very seriously and plans to protect herself as much as she can as a result. Here is the full text of Linda‘s official statement in response to Hogan‘s original comments:

“Hulk’s serial cheating destroyed our marriage, our family and our future. Sadly, his recent comments remind us that his definition of fair is much different than what the law dictates,” states Linda Hogan. “We have always maintained that the fear that Linda has had to live with comes from the rage and instability much too often associated with pro wrestlers,” states Linda’s rep Gary Smith. Linda and her family are taking these recent homicidal comments seriously. Linda’s attorney Ray Rafool is weighting all options necessary to protect his client.

It is insane that Hulk Hogan could make those comments … but, in the end, can we really be surprised by anything that comes from the entire Hogan family? You got the son, Nick Hogan, going to jail for almost killing his best friend after crashing his car in a reported street race. You got the daughter, Brooke Hogan, doing anything and everything (like pole dancing, for example) in order to promote herself as a “singer” … and then you’ve got these outrageous comments from their father Hulk Hogan. Trust me, it’s not that I’m the biggest Linda Hogan fan but that her husband would say such things publicly is horrendous. If he is willing to divulge these dark thoughts in a major magazine can you imagine what he must be like in private? Linda is right to take these “homicidal comments” seriously. I hope she is smart and stays as far away from him as she can. Whether he is serious about his comments or not, it would be very smart of her to keep her distance. Who knows what the man might be capable of doing. After all, he has proven by his very words that he is capable of concocting some very dark things. Scary.

I think it was takin out of context as well. If anyone was in his shoes they’d prob feel and say the same thing. I can’t stand her and I hope she doesn’t get shit.

Hulk did end the comment by saying that he would never do such a thing. I think he was just trying to express how upsetting it is for him to see his wife moving on. He just did it in a horrible way and probably should have stopped to think about what he was saying. But at the end of the day, I don’t think Hulk is really known for his brain power. He also probably should have thought about how much he loved his wife before constantly cheating on her.

Really what people should be taking away from this is that famous people need to stop using their relationships and family for gain by doing a reality show. Pretty much every couple/family that has done a reality show it has only hurt them. Even the Little People Big World father ended up with a DUI…

Could this be another Chris Benoit accident waiting to happen? Many wrestlers use steroids and testosterone and street/prescription drugs before/during/after wrestling. Which many wrestlers (male & female) have died either by killing themselves or ODing on drugs and/ alcohol. Hogan himself in 1991 testified in court that he had used steroids over a period of 12 years to “bulk up”. Whether or not he was kidding, it’s hard to find this funny. When it’s been almost 2 years since Chris Benoit killed his wife and son, then hung himself. Benoit was said to be family man, and look at how it had ended for him & his family. Maybe people would have found it funny if it was before the Benoit incident. But now it’s hard to find that funny or to think it was taking out of context. Also some people forget while Hogan was out wrestling and making movies and doing things where he wasn’t home, where was Linda?? Staying home and taking care of the kids and the house, and the pets while he was away. It’s hard to say she shouldn’t anything since she was the housewife who probably gave up things she wanted to do, to stay home with the kids and doing everything else at home while he work to provided for his family. Hogan got to live his dream, and I’m sure Linda got to live a few of her dreams (like being a mom) but I don’t think she got to live out all of her dreams. Whether you like her or not she’s gone through a lot with Hogan, just as he has with her, and in the end they both need just need to finish the divorce, and be happy with their new lives, and need to stop talk to magazines/newspapers about each other, and just be happy. End of story

I agree with what Malory said, also …It may be gross to some that she is dating who she is dating, but she’s a single woman and can do whatever the heck she likes. I highly doubt he was faithful in the marriage … There are alot of men out there, who will take that wife killing comment and run with it. That is the problem.

  5. Malory says:

I do need to correct myself: it wasn’t in 1991, it was 1994 when he testified in court.

  6. Ella says:

It’s so weird how ppl keep saying they can understand where he’s coming from… I can understand him being upset but I for one have never taken a jump from upset to “I understand why OJ stabbed two people to death”
