Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner took a break from filming the new sequel The Twilight Saga: New Moon to chill with some regular folk at a local bar in Vancouver, Canada and to take in a performance by friend Cecil Sage Dill recently. Here are a couple pics of the pair lookin’ about as normal as can be:
Can I just say how refreshing it is to see a young starlet like Kristen Stewart deign to go out in public sans make-up and happy as can be? I realize that her manner and attitude may be off-putting to some folks but I am totally charmed by her down-to-Earthness. We’ve all had days where all we want to do is be frumpy … good for Kristen for being as frumpy as she wanna be. I understand that the last scenes filmed in the Cullen home set have wrapped and that production is well on schedule. It shant be long before we may start seeing the first footage of the film in some form or another.

For once, I don’t want to punch her in the face. She always seems so harsh to me that I just want to smack her, but she’s kind of endearing here.
I’m actually very lucky to be able to say that I LIVE in Vancouver where this, and many other movies are filmed. It’s not an every day thing to see a hot celeb but it’s also not uncommon, as well as sets and crew from all kinds of visual media. The buzz among my coworkers is that Robert Pattison has been seen just a couple of blocks from my job, I keep hoping he’ll come in since I haven’t seen or read the Twilight book/movie, but I will forever <3 him as Cedric…
I don’t get why people don’t ‘get’ her? … So she’s not a Miss Perky, pom pom waving, beauty pageant, cheerleader. Big deal! … I find her refreshing, amongst all the stars who always have something to say and can’t stop blowing their own trumpet.
P.S. Can’t wait to see her playing Joan Jett …

kristen’s such a boyish looking bish. she’s far to ugly to be filmed. and that attitude… haha… when you look like that you either have to have a shit load of talent or a great personality – she has none of either. LOL
wow. something nice from her. I don’t mind her down to earthness but her cynical attitude towards everything gets annoying. esp when you consider the great circumstances she’s in now while others are out of jobs, it’s nice to see her look like she actually appreciates it
Hi Guys….. I was checking out the Cineplex website and this is what it said:
Lawsuit casts a shadow over New Moon. Producers have been forced to halt production of the highly anticipated Twilight sequel amid accusations of plagiarism aimed at author Stephenie Meyer. Meyer’s former college roommate, Heidi Stanton, claims she wrote a short story while the two lived together that closely resembles the massively popular vampire tales and has filed a suit claiming idea infringement. Meyer has always claimed the idea for the novels came to her in a dream but Stanton disputes this claiming, “I was shocked when I began watching the movie with my husband last week. I immediately told him that she got that idea from me! I wrote a fictional short story with the same ideas when we were in college together.” According to a US fansite, the court proceedings have halted production in Vancouver until the issue is resolved. No word on how long the claim may take.
My biggest problem with this is that Twilight was originally published in 2005 and it’s now 2009. Has she been hiding under a rock all this time???

Actually, this was taken outside the Shark Club, I believe… taken on the 20th? Last week they did go to the Backstage Lounge, though… and Robert’s been spotted at the Republic (Major thumbs down, though)
