Here is our first look at Kristen Stewart (in the role of Bella Swan) and Taylor Lautner (in the role of Jacob Black) filming scenes together in the new film The Twilight Saga: New Moon which is due to hit theaters this November. As those of you who have read the book are well aware (SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO READ THE TWILIGHT BOOKS), Bella and Jacob get much closer in New Moon than they were in Twilight. Due to circumstances which I shant get into here, Bella and Edward have to spend a lot of time apart at this point in their lovestory … which opens the door for Jacob to get closer to Bella. These new photos are our first look at some of the scenes that these two characters will share in the film:
I’m sure those of you on Team Jacob are very excited to see these new pics. It’s kinda funny seeing the actors back in their Twilight garb so soon after we saw them in the first film. Twilight was just released on DVD a couple of weeks ago and we’re already onto film #2. It still remains to be seen how faithful the movie version will be to New Moon but, if they do follow the book’s plotline, Jacob Black will feature very heavily in this sequel. I really hope they get his character right … Jacob goes thru some “adolescent changes” in the film and I’m very curious to see how the filmmakers pull it off. I doubt we’ll get to see anything of his changes for many months (if at all). But these first pics show us that things are moving ahead quickly.

Woot Woot! I cant wait til november rolls around! I’m totally on team edward, but really looking forward to which direction they take the Bella/Jacob relationship for the movie(& for jacobs “changes”) !
Yay! This is very exciting for those of us looking forward to the next movie. I like Jacob, but I must say it will be sad not seeing Edward much in this one.
OMG I can’t wait…I saw these pics on another blog website and it got me very excited. I have a feeling that this movie will be better than the last one

I don’t get it, really. I mean, I know Jacob’s change is going to be really hard and what not, but you can tell he’s totally ripped just in these pictures. This is before the change, not after. All they’re going to do is avoid his muscles as much as possible and then they’ll display them and they’ll take that horrible wig out of his hair and use his real hair. Not much of a change. I doubt they’re even going to attempt to change his height. I guess we’ll see! I am very, very excited. AND THEY BETTER GET THE MAKE-UP RIGHT THIS TIME. It’s a little distracting to see their faces white but their necks and ears a different color. kthankssss
@ Roxter .. she is wearing a wig that is a different color than her hair but im sure in the movie it will probably look all the same
And here we go I guess… out of all the books I’m the least excited to see this one as a movie… mostly because for 300 pages I was cursing Edward for leaving and anxiously waiting for him to come home… or I was going to gouge my eyes out. That being said I wonder how much of the movie Rob Pattinson isn’t in… I know the beginning and ending of the book is significant to the story but the middle is where we see Jacob fall for Bella and her sort of have a clue but not really care too much as she’s still desperately in love. I also wonder how they are going to show Jacob and Bella’s relationship. Because nothing happens between them until the 3rd book and it would be a real shame if the director decided to have him kiss her now.
As a new twilight-head (yeah, I jumped on the bandwagon and I’m not scared to admit it) I am really excited for this. I’ve still to read the 3rd book (finals are coming up so it will probably have to wait untill summer time) I think I may be team Jacob though!

I very very much agree with you. And to be honest I liked the last movie but there were way to many editing screw ups. I hope this movie will be better than the last!
Wow Kristin Stewart has so much depth and acting ability…look at her making that one face she makes…
I will view this movie the same way I viewed the first: for free, over the internet, scoffing every 10 seconds and rolling my eyes.

I think kristen stewart’s really gorgeous but I have to agree, she’s not the most animated person. Which is why I’m surprised her acting in twilight was pretty good! I hope she gets better.
About her hair, In the first one, I know she wore hair pieces to cut down shooting time, seeing as she was < 18 then. They usually change the temperature of the film (making them more ghostly white) and more contrasted so maybe this hair colour’s fine?
