Radar Online has recently come upon a few previously unseen photos of Britney Spears and her young sons — Sean Preston and Jayden James — lookin’ happy, healthy and relatively sane back in December of 2007 … during the time in between Britney‘s head-shaving antics in ’07 and her very public melt-down in ’08. Radar does not divulge from whence these photos came but they are a nice look at a time in Britney‘s life when, for all intents and purposes, she was living a live of turmoil (to say the least):

The photos were snapped in December 2007 but have never been seen before. The pics show a happy and fit Britney, looking good in her teenie weenie leopard print bikini and showing off her tats. It’s hard to believe that just months earlier, Britney had shaved her head and was in the midst of a very public meltdown.
The thing that strikes me most about these photos is how happy Britney looks. No matter what she was going thru, no matter the drama … she seemed to brighten up and normalize when she was able to spend time with her children. I am also surprised by the tattoos on her abdomen … I don’t recall when she got that tattoo work done. Happily, news has been relatively quiet on the Britney Spears front for the past few weeks … after all, she’s been bizzy touring the country playing to sold-out venues everywhere she goes. Brit Brit brings her Circus to LA tomorrow night … and I’m very excited. While these “new” photos come from a time that was tumultuous for her, I always love seeing her with her kids. Leopard print bikini notwithstanding, the pics are really cute … don’t you think?

Probably because the media only showed the absolute worst pics of Brit they could find during that time …. Another way that the tabloids ‘shape’ and warp our view of certain people and create a story about whatever is supposedly going on in their lives at the time …
@Joanne — Actually, I seem to recall that there were only bad times for Britney. I know that she’s been doing well for some time now but back when she was hanging with Ghalib and Lutfi she was a mess, daily. I can’t forget how sad her life used to be.
Aw i love to see her happy. But its horrible knowing she was in hell in her head. Its like those pictures taken of her i think at an airoport, days before she shaved her head. She was looking well dressed, kaeup on and was smiling for the camera…a rarity then. But then she had her major melt down :(
I agree with Joanne. The media does skew how public perception is about certain celebrities. They love playing the “Saints vs. Sinners” game. That being said, Britney was in a very bad place, surrounded by manipulative leeches, and she did need help. But the degree to which they painted her as a deranged wreck of a person was just wrong!!
The tats on her stomach was done after she shaved her head but actually the flower, left one, she already have it,((it pretty easy to find a picture with it, (http://www.vanishingtattoo.com.....spears.htm)on this site there old picture were she have it,)) it was another thing, a chinese symbol for mystery with a red line surrended, shes done the flower thing after, for the one on the right, the cross, shes done it the same night she went at a tattoo shop with JamieLynn, her sister, that night shes had done another too a little star on her right hand.
I love Britney. I saw her @ Sacramento and she was absolutely amazing… however, Britney isn’t as great as she used to be. She’s back, but she isn’t “back” back like she was. I would say she’s about 70% back.
