Britney Spears Brings Her ‘Circus’ To Chicago, IL
Sadly, today is our last day in Chicago, IL as David and I are scheduled to fly back to SoCal in a couple of hours. We have had the best time here and while our stay was far too short, I think David got a good sense of how amazing this city is so we will deffo be back. Yesterday was a nice relaxing day for us … we stayed near our temporary home away from home The Hard Rock Hotel Chicago and had THE most sumptuous dinner at the China Grill. On the advice of our server, we tried a multi-course meal that was so full of deliciousness that I can’t even fully convey how tasty everything was. Each course was more tasty that the previous one … it was truly a great meal. I cannot recommend China Grill more … if you are in the city and have yet to eat here, YOU MUST. It’s really fantastic. Much love goes out to our friends Joe, Lea, Shea, Sarah and Mark for making our visit to Chicago extra special and much love and many thanks goes out to John and his entire staff here at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. We were made to feel so welcome at every turn … this was my second stay at the Hard Rock and the service just keeps getting better. Perfect location, great amenities and a great staff make this place my fave! I hope we are able to come back soon. David and I just love it here :)
But, lest you forget, last night David and I were able to see Britney Spears for the third and final time. Brit Brit played the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL and put on another fantastic show. After the jump, check out some of my photos from last night’s show …
Once again, Britney was high-energy and there were no malfunctions to speak of … she put on an amazing show, which was the perfect way for David and me to end our run. The Chicago crowd last night was really raucous, really givin’ the love … it was a very fun show. After the party was over, David and I made our way to Spin in Boy’s Town for a nightcap (or two). The club was playing Britney Spears videos all night long …. twas really fun. I have to give a shout out to Pink readers David (pictured below), Ken, Zach, Kyle, Joey, Sam, Heather and Amanda …
… it was my pleasure meeting you all :)
And so … alas … our time here in Chicago has come to an end. While the weather was not ideal, the people more than made up for the wide range of wet/dry/hot/coldness thruout our stay. It had been many years since I was able to spend time in Chicago, hopefully I won’t wait as long to come back for my next visit. Much love to YOU Chicago for a great time … I’ll be back!!

I loved visiting Boy’s Town when my friend lived there. She had such a cute little apartment and the neighbourhood is gorgeous!

So glad you guys made it to my wonderful city of Chi. I love your blog and next time you’re in town I’d be more than welcome to get you some tix for a Sox or Cubs game. A lot of people don’t get how great our city is and it is so great to hear your kind words! Thanks for your awesome blog, it really makes my day!
