Beyoncé Does ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’
Yesterday a sound clip was making the rounds on the Internets that claimed to be a soundboard recording of Beyoncé singing screeching along to a backing track when she performed on The Today Show after the release of her latest album I Am … last year. While the clip was RIOTOUSLY hilarious, it turns out that it was a fake clip altered to make Beyoncé sound bad. Last night, Beyoncé made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman to promote her new movie Obsessed (which opens in theaters tomorrow) and to perform her new single Halo LIVE. Here are a few pics of Beyoncé making her arrival at the CBS Studio in NYC yesterday:

While I’m a bit bummed to learn that the original clip is a fake, I’m not at all surprised … Beyoncé can sing, y’all. Not only am I very excited to see her new movie Obsessed when it opens but I am even MORE excited to be seeing Beyoncé live in concert this July. I managed to procure tix for David and me to see her at the Staples Center from the stage! We got a pair of I Am … Fierce tickets which will have us sitting in the Diva section ON STAGE while she performs. I have never seen Beyoncé perform in concert before … so I’m very excited. Woot :)

Even if the sound board was real or fake… we knew Beyonce as an amazing vocalist. But I love that no matter what happens… girl brought herself a wind machine!

@Matt — technically, the album is a double album: disc 1 is “I Am … Beyonce” and disc 2 is “I Am … Sasha Fierce”

I agree with Trent that is pretty damn funny, but Beyonce is an amazing vocalist anyways.

True Story….The original title for the movie Obsessed was “Oh No She Didn’t!” THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO SUCK!!! There is no way it can be good! I almost wish they had kept the original title!!

i cant help but laugh when she performs. what was with that little move she did when she sang “im addicted to your light”? and the facial expressions… i dunno man…
