Simon Rex Hitting On Lance Bass

Bromance or Showmance?
Monday, April 27th, 2009

It turns out that it’s not just half-nekkid Brazilian men and lovely ladies who love Lance Bass … apparently so does Dirt Nasty himself Simon Rex — who was spotted all up on Lance’s biz in West Hollywood, CA over the weekend as the pair filmed some sort of TV pilot together:

Now, I’m not sure what kind of TV series could do these two guys justice but I’m willing to find out. It looks as if Simon was really trying to get under Lance’s skin, it looks as if he even tried to plant a kiss on Lance in that second pic. Lance doesn’t look too happy about any of this … but they do make a cute couple nonetheless. What kind of show do you think these two guys are cooking up together? Would you watch?

Megan Is A Fox On The Set Of ‘Jonah Hex’

The action starlet films her next movie
Monday, April 27th, 2009

Megan Fox, who sexes up the upcoming blockbuster Summer sequel Transformers: Rise of the Fallen this June, has been spotted on the Louisiana set of the new Warner Bros. big screen adaptation of the Western-style comic book Jonah Hex. Here are a couple pics of Megan in her sexy period pieces on set yesterday:

ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! has received new photos of Megan Fox wearing two different costumes on the set of Warner Bros. Pictures’ comic book adaptation Jonah Hex. Opening August 6, 2010, the Jimmy Hayward-directed action-adventure co-stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon. Hex, known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform, was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood.

Ah yes … sounds like a charming and uplifting film. I, personally, am not a fan of anything Western-themed nor am I familiar with this particular comic book series but the cast does sound impressive. Megan looks great in her sexy corset … which I’m sure all the fanboys will appreciate muchly. I suspect we may see more from the Jonah Hex set in the weeks to come. Any fans out there? Is this a comic book title I should be reading?

The McConaughey-Alves Fam Does The MaliBLUE Fest

Plus, Matthew reveals that his son likes to pee on him
Monday, April 27th, 2009

Matthew McConaughey, his babymama Camila Alves and their young son Levi Alves made their way to the Malibu Pier in Malibu, CA over the weekend to attend The MaliBLUE Art & Music Festival as a happy little family. As you can see from the photos, Matthew let Camila carry Levi for most of the time most likely because little Levi likes to pee on his father every chance he gets:

Matthew McConaughey’s son loves peeing on him. The ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ actor claims nine-month-old Levi – his son with his Brazilian girlfriend Camila Alves – is always delighted when he manages to squirt him with urine at changing time. He said: “Yes, I’ve changed diapers and yes, Levi has peed on me – more than a few times to both. He gets the joke when he pees on me. He laughs. He laughs his butt off! I think I am good at changing diapers. I could have a race-off with some other dads out there.” Despite his son’s penchant for soaking him, Matthew loves being a parent. The 39-year-old actor says becoming a father has helped him find joy in life, explaining just seeing his son smile makes him happy. He revealed to People magazine: “The coolest thing I’ve learned from Levi is kids really remind you of your sense of humour. Like I was just saying, they pee on you and they’re just laughing and all of sudden you’re reminded of having a sense of humour about everything. You can watch Levi, and everything he sees is for the first time, so you see the wonder in something we see every day.”

LMAO! But I gotta say, I bet this isn’t the first time that Matthew has been peed on before … but it is prolly the first time he’s admitted as much in the press. In any event, I love seeing new photos of Matthew out with his new family … Camila and Levi have really sorted out his partyboy behavior.

Dev Patel & Freida Pinto’s Real-Life Romance

Mama Patel confirms the couple's romance
Monday, April 27th, 2009

The romantic love affair that we got to enjoy on the big screen between Dev Patel and Freida Pinto in Slumdog Millionaire has, apparently, spilled over into real life. For weeks there has been speculation that the co-stars were more than just friends … and at last Dev Patel’s mother is spilling the beans that the couple are really dating in real life. Here is a recent photo of Dev and Freida lookin’ all couplely in Israel (where she is currently filming her next movie) and the deets on their relationship from Mama Patel:

After much speculation about the nature of the relationship involving Slumdog Millionaire stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, Patel’s mother Anita has confirmed to a British newspaper that the pair are very much a couple. “First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place,” Mrs. Patel is quoted as saying in Monday’s Daily Mirror. “Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful, and I am really happy for them.” Her comments come just days after Patel, 19, jetted to Israel to spend a whirlwind date with the Mumbai beauty, 24. “Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her,” said Patel’s mother. The pair rendezvoused in Tel Aviv as Pinto took time off from filming her latest movie in Jerusalem. The couple spent a few hours together in a hotel before emerging for a stroll around the harbor and an early champagne dinner at a seaside restaurant. Onlookers said Pinto couldn’t keep her hands off Patel. The couple spent their time at the table smooching and holding hands to the delight of a group of Japanese tourists who happened to pass by.

Aww … I love it … these two make such a cute couple. I think they are a great match for each other and what better way to fall in love than while making the Academy Award winning Best Picture of the year. So happy to see young love spring anew … here’s hoping these two stay together for a long time to come. Love them!!

First Look: Tori Amos, ‘Maybe California’

Tori's Mother's Day Gift
Monday, April 27th, 2009

Spinner.com is today giving us our first look and listen to a plaintive new Tori Amos song titled Maybe California from her new album Abnormally Attracted to Sin which is due out on May 19. Tori wrote the song as one mother to other mothers as her gift for Mother’s Day. Here are a few screencaps from the visualette that accompanies the song and a short explanation about the song’s meaning:

This Mother’s Day, Tori Amos wanted to extend a special gift to all mothers in the best way she knows how: with song. ‘Maybe California’ — off her May 19th-due album, ‘Abnormally Attracted to Sin’ — was written, as she describes it, from one mother to another, who, as the lyrics explore, is contemplating suicide. The tune itself is meant as a saving grace, of sorts. “There are people in our lives, and we all know them, that are able to give even in the darkest of times,” Amos, who has an 8-year-old daughter, Natashya, says. “Even when they seem depleted. But somehow by giving, they gain this magical light. Even the most giving person needs a gift every once and a while, just to know they are seen and appreciated. ‘Maybe California’ is my gift to you.”

As Los Angelinos will recognize, the visualette video was filmed in LA and features a few well-known landmarks and attractions. The song is slow and sad but is nonetheless beautiful and poignant. The visualette adds to the feel of the song and can be watched in full after the jump …

In The Navy … Pier

The TV Guide
Monday, April 27th, 2009

Yesterday was our first full day here in Chicago, IL and we really made the most of the amazing weather. Altho the day started out cold and rainy, it brightened up by noontime and for the most part the rest of the day was glorious. David and I met up with Sarah, Mark, Joe and Lea for brunch at Atwood Cafe before heading over to Garrett’s Popcorn for a bag of cheesy/caramel popcorn mix. Trust me, y’all, if you’re ever in Chicago you MUST get this mix of popcorn … it’s absolutely delish! With cheesy/sticky popcorn fingers, we made our way to Millennium Park to hang out and take photos before making our way to Navy Pier to ride the rides:

At one point along our walk, we felt the wind shift and actually felt the temperature go from the low 60s to the low 80s … I have never felt a temperature change that quick before in my life. It was kinda freaky but very cool. We rode the Ferris Wheel and Swings and really had a fab time. After our afternoon out, we parted ways with Joe and Lea and made our way back to our suite at the Hard Rock Hotel to chill out before Sarah and Mark had to drive back to Detroit. David and I went out for Chicago Deep Dish pizza at Gino’s East before calling it a night back home at the Hard Rock again. I had forgotten how much I love this city … the people are very cool and there is so much to see and do. It’s been quite some time since I was in the city last and there are so many new things to see … the city has gotten even cooler!

I believe we are meeting up with one of David’s friends who lives here in the city but I think the rest of the day will be spent exploring on foot again. So great to back in the city again … we are really loving it.
