Yesterday a sound clip was making the rounds on the Internets that claimed to be a soundboard recording of Beyoncé singing screeching along to a backing track when she performed on The Today Show after the release of her latest album I Am … last year. While the clip was RIOTOUSLY hilarious, it turns out that it was a fake clip altered to make Beyoncé sound bad. Last night, Beyoncé made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman to promote her new movie Obsessed (which opens in theaters tomorrow) and to perform her new single Halo LIVE. After suffering a pretty scary horse-riding accident in the Hamptons, NY over the weekend (an accident, mind you, that required a visit to the hospital afterward), Madonna was spotted back in NYC walking around on her own two feet lookin’ no worse for the wear. Maddy was spotted in the company of her young buck, Jesus Luz, as the pair made their exit from dining together at The Waverly Inn in the West Village neighborhood of NYC last night … behold:

Last month they were said to have parted ways, but Madonna and Jesus have been spotted together again for the third time in a week. The pair went out to dinner with friends at Ye Waverly Inn in Manhattan last night, making something of a change from visits to the Kabbalah Centre. Looking businesslike in cream trousers and a long jacket, the singer gave a shy smile as she left the restaurant. The Brazilian model, dressed in black, was photographed walking nearby. On Monday, the 50-year-old left the Kabbalah Centre with 22-year-old Jesus and ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, the father of her daughter Lourdes, in tow. And just two days earlier, Madonna and her on/off toyboy left Morandi restaurant in New York in the same car. The couple were said to have split last month, days before she flew to Malawi in a failed attempt to adopt the three-year-old child Mercy James. It was reported at the time that Madonna had been told there was disquiet in the country about her lifestyle … But since her request to take Mercy back to New York was refused, it appears Madonna has rekindled her romance with her ex. She is currently appealing after her bid to adopt orphaned Mercy was rejected by the Malawian courts.

Firstly, I am very relieved to see that Madonna appears to be in tip-top shape after her fall this weekend. The fact that she’s already back to prowling the streets with her toyboy seems like clear evidence that she suffered no injuries from her accident. Second, it’s nice to see Madonna & Child together again. You may recall that Jesus has been by Maddy‘s side for the past few days, he was even present when she suffered her accident in the Hamptons. That boy is hooked and he is gonna stay by her side as long as she will have him. In any event, happy to see Madge is back to her good ol’, wily ways … happy and healthy again.

Lindsay Lohan will be featured on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (an appearance which she taped yesterday) wherein she talks to Ellen — for the first time on TV — about her break-up with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. According to Lindsay, the break-up was a total surprise to her … their relationship, she claims, went from totally fine to Samantha just “disappearing”. HMM. What’s more difficult than enduring a painful breakup in the public eye? “When you don’t know you’re breaking up,” says Lindsay Lohan. “Really weird.” The 22-year-old actress shared her ordeal with somebody who knows all about a high-profile breakup: Ellen DeGeneres, whose split with Anne Heche in 2000 dominated celebrity news. In an Ellen DeGeneres show airing Thursday, Lohan tells the talk show host that the breakup with Samantha Ronson, 31, earlier this month “came out of nowhere.” “I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn’t seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared,” Lohan says. Lohan didn’t discuss what may have led to it after a “really tough night” but denied infidelity was the cause. “I don’t believe in cheating on someone,” says Lohan. DeGeneres said that after her own public breakup, “I kind of lost my career for a little while and I went away … and I literally hibernated and got myself back together.” She asked Lohan if she wanted to run away. “I feel like I want to get my career back in shape,” she said, adding that being away from Ronson – and not dating anybody regularly right now – may be a positive step. “You know when people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person,” said Lohan. “I think it’s been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been. My sister’s been here with me.” And Lohan still holds hope that the split won’t be permanent. “I really care about Samantha and we’ll see what happens,” she says. “Maybe when we’re fully in the right place. And I love her.”

Obvs, each person in a break-up is going to have their own perspective on what happened and who’s to blame. I kinda really love that Lindsay was so open about her feelings for Sam. It says a lot that she would choose Ellen‘s show to profess her still love for her ex-girlfriend … call me a wee bit crazy but is it wrong that I think it’s a little romantic? I cannot imagine that Samantha will be appearing on any TV shows to give her side of the break-up as she strikes me as an extremely private person. While I wouldn’t take Lindsay‘s assertions about what happened as the gospel truth, it may be the only side of the story that we’ll ever get to hear.
