In the course of all the flash bulbs going off whenever a scrum of paparazzi are snapping away photos at a celebrity on the move, there will invariably be one or two really unflattering photos … which is how we get to see gems like this beaut. Hee hee … in all honesty, Paris did look kinda alright on the night that this photo was taken but, yeah, she ain’t lookin’ too hot in this one. I literally laughed out loud when I saw this pic … so I had to share! Happy weekend!!

On Wednesday we got to check out a very strange photo of Kanye West, Jared Leto of (among other things) 30 Seconds to Mars and Brandon Flowers of The Killers together in the studio where they were working on a “DOPE ASS SONG” (Kanye’s words, not mine) together. Today, Jared Leto published a new blogpost on his official My Space profile enlightening us on the experience. So, I guess we will prolly get to hear this song after all. I have to admit, I never would’ve pictured Kanye West and Jared Leto as the kind of musicians who would fancy working together (throwing in Brandon Flowers just makes the whole notion even that more unbelievable) but here we have it. I, for one, love that these guys do like working together. If anything, it’s bound to be an interesting if not DOPE ASS SONG to check out. Who knows, if this collabo turns out to be a huge success, mebbe we’ll get to see other odd parings in the future. Marilyn Manson and Ashlee Simpson? Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift? Chris Cornell and Timbaland? Nah, all of those pairings would be TOO incapable of making any sort of interesting music ;)

Well lookie here … Jesus Luz, Madonna’s 22 year old toyboy who reportedly started hooking up with her late last year when the pair worked together on a W magazine photoshoot in Brazil and subsequently followed her to both London and NYC before he had to return home to South America when his visa expired, is back in the Big Apple and — wouldn’t you know it — back in Madonna’s fine company. Here is a pic of the pair together again in NYC this week lookin’ as comfy cozy together as ever:

Madonna has been pictured with her toyboy lover Jesus Luz, weeks after the two were thought to have separated. The singer split from the model, who at 22 is 28 years her junior, days before flying to Malawi in a failed attempt to adopt the three-year-old child Mercy James. It was reported at the time that Madonna had been told there was disquiet in the country about her lifestyle. Her bid to adopt Mercy comes eight months after she split from ex-husband Guy Ritchie. The split was confirmed when Madonna used Twitter to talk to her fans. One wrote: “Hello Madonna, honey am glad you are single again – you made your best music as a single woman,” to which Madonna apparently replied: “Not as glad as I am” But it seems that perhaps the 50-year-old has had a change of heart. She is currently appealing after her bid to adopt orphaned Mercy was rejected by the Malawian courts. But while she awaits the verdict she is back in New York – where she was pictured with Luz yesterday. The two were snapped leaving in the same car after dining at the Morandi restaurant in downtown Manhattan. Madonna dressed demurely in black stilettos, sheer tights and a black winter coat, teamed with a slick of red lipstick. She left the restaurant hand-in-hand with good friend Jessica Seinfeld, wife of U.S. comedian Jerry Seinfeld, but then climbed into the same car as Luz.

HMMMMMM. Madonna does not strike me as the kind of woman who chooses twentysomethings as friends … I’m convinced they’re doin’ it … and I say, YOU GO, GURL! Regarding her tweet confirmation of singleness, I assumed her response was about her split from Guy Ritchie not Jesus Luz. Methinks that Maddy is gonna get the most out of baby Jesus for as long as she can … and Jesus is happy to oblige. I, for one, am happy to see Madonna & Child reunited once again.

Earlier this month we heard the AMAZING rumor that Sarah Michelle Gellar was reportedly FINALLY ready to take on a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie … but about a week later, we learned the even more amazing news that SMG is pregs at last with her first child (meaning that reports that she was ready to do a BtVS movie were prolly greatly exaggerated). Today, tho, Buffy creator Joss Whedon drives the final stake into the heart of this Buffy movie rumor by categorically denying that any BtVS movie is in the works:

Here’s the final word on that rumored Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie from the creator himself, Joss Whedon. “Not gonna happen,” Whedon told reporters in Hollywood on Wednesday. “Not gonna happen. Until I gather the press and make a public announcement myself that it’s going to happen, never believe anything.” So there you have it!

Booooooooooooooooooooo! While this news is a TOTAL bummer, I guess it’s really not that much of a surprise. This Buffy movie rumor rears its head every once-in-a-while and hopeful fans (like me) hope against hope that the rumor is true at last. But, alas, we are left dejected and crestfallen once again. I suppose we should keep this in mind the next time a rumor like this goes around but something tells me that hope and belief will win out in the end … and we (well, I) may fall for it again. So that’s it … no Buffy movie either with or without SMG is in the works. Since Joss has his hands full with the fate of Dollhouse these days, I doubt we’ll be hearing any future Buffy news anytime soon.

Last night Britney Spears FINALLY brought her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears to Los Angeles on her 25th concert stop of the tour. David and I purchased tickets for the VIP Concert Experience and had the best time ever.
