Britney Spears’s ex-hubby Kevin Federline has been livin’ large the past few weeks and I couldn’t help but notice some similarities to one Homer J. Simpson. Both K-Fed and Homer have a certain rotundness about them. They both have a strong affinity for donuts. AND, they both like to bowl:

If you also consider that both The Federline and Homer Simpson are in love with tall, lanky women … well … I think it’s clear to see the resemblance. In the grand scheme of things, there are worse characters to be compared to. Homer J. Simpson (and his animated family) has just been selected by the US Postal Service to appear on a set of $0.44 postage stamps … that’s pretty cool. If Britney’s alimony checks ever stop, I suppose it’s feasible for K-Fed to get a job at a nuclear power plant (if they’ll have him). So many options … at last, Kevin Federline has found his life’s true calling.

16 year old Miley Cyrus appears on The Rachael Ray Show today and in her interview reveals to Ray’s television audience that her relationship with 20 year old underwear model Justin Gaston has brought her closer to “the Lord”. Yeah, I’ve seen the lad in his undies and I can TOTALLY identify. BUT, Miley goes on to clarify that it is Justin’s religiousness that has brought her closer to God rather than anything else. Additionally, Miley also confesses that she has made a miraculous discovery at her local CVS Pharmacy … the do-it-yourself hair coloring aisle:

Miley Cyrus says she’s gotten much holier since she started hanging out with her God-fearing underwear-model squeeze Justin Gaston. “I’ve never been closer to the Lord since I met him,” she says on on the “Rachael Ray” show that airs Friday. “He’s really made me read my Bible.” We’d have to agree with Miley about feeling all holy roller. Because every time we see Justin, we say to ourselves, “Oh, thank heavens!” Far more alarming is the news that Miley has learned how color her own hair. “I’m going to save so much money, you have no idea!” she tells Ray. “I’m pretty proud of myself. Dude, if it’s going to be between $8 and $800 … it’s a good idea.” OMG, this is so not going to be pretty.

Now see … I’m trying to picture in my head the image of Jiley dying her hair in the bathroom sink and then cuddling up on the couch to read the Bible together … all before Miley climbs in to bed to sleep with her parents. I suspect that chipmunks and baby deer come to frolic on her front lawn and birds and small mice do all the chores around the house. Heh, JG might actually get Miley closer to God but I’m sure he does so in more ways than one.

Last November we learned the shocking news that Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt had sneaked off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a little vacay and decided to get married while there. For about a month after, we were led to believe that the couple were legally wed altho no marriage license could be found for the couple to confirm the legality of their nuptials. MTV aired the season finale of The Hills and featured the couple’s Mexican honeymoon and Spencer went on the record to contend that his marriage to Heidi was legal … in his mind. It turned out, because the couple failed to legally wed here in the US that their Mexican marriage was not valid and the couple were not married after all. But that was then … this is now. E! News is now reporting that Speidi are planning to be married — for real — here in the US at an undisclosed location in Pasadena, CA on Saturday April 25:

Mark your calendars. E! News has learned exclusively that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are set to tie the knot on Saturday, April 25, in an undisclosed location in Pasadena, Calif. “This will be the real wedding,” says a source close to the couple, who last November staged a fake wedding for cameras in Mexico. “It’s being filmed as the season finale for The Hills.”

A rep for the couple declined comment. E! News has learned that the controversial reality couple has already invited about 110 guests to the nuptials, but the list is expected to grow even larger as the wedding date nears. A source says the couple plans to wed in a sunset ceremony and is looking at a rooftop location for a reception. Montag has already picked out her dress and, in fact, at 3 p.m. on Thursday had her final fitting at the Monique Lhuillier boutique in Los Angeles.

Now, just because the couple says that they are going to be legally wed doesn’t necessarily mean that that will be the case. It remains to be seen if the nuptials will be videoed for airing on television but earlier this year Speidi vowed that they would televise their wedding the next time they get married. I suppose it’s possible that the couple are serious about getting married for real … but it is also equally possible that they are crying wolf again just for a little attention. In either case, we’ll know for sure in just about 2 weeks time .. can’t wait!!

Last month we learned the happy, happy news that Melissa Beck (née Melissa Howard — who y’all may remember from The Real World: New Orleans) and her husband and Glassjaw guitarist Justin Beck announced the birth of their first child — a girl — named Shalom Mazie. Today we get our first look at Melissa and Justin’s BEAUTIFUL and entirely adorable little girl … who celebrated her first Passover this week with her happy family:

Folks, I don’t think y’all are ready for the cuteness ahead. There are some cute babies and there are some cute babies … and then there are those babies that are so cute that it makes your fallopian tubes quiver and your ovaries ache — even the dudes!! Not content to let Alyson Hannigan give birth to the only Buffyverse baby on the block, Buffy the Vampire Slayer herself Sarah Michelle Gellar had to go and get pregs with a baby of her own. People magazine is reporting the very exciting and joyous news that SMG and her husband of 6 years Freddie Prinze, Jr. are expecting the birth of their first child this Fall:

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child together, a source close to the couple confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. “They’re very excited,” says the source, adding that the actress, 31, is due in the fall. Gellar, who has been married to Prinze, 33, for six years, will next shoot the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays, for which she serves as an executive producer. Prinze recently shot the comedy pilot No Heroics for ABC.

While this is absolutely amazing news (which I finally got to hear as soon as I landed in Philly last night on my way to Connecticut — and immediately posted on my Twitter account), I suppose this puts the kibosh on that rumor that SMG had finally decided to do a big screen BtVS movie this year. Ah well … this is much better news. I am absolutely thrilled that SMG and FPJ are expanding their family in this way … I’m sure they are very excited. Tho, it should be noted that while Buffy herself is finally giving birth, it was Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof (both Buffyverse alums) who already birthed the one true Buffyverse baby ;) SMG and FPJ can give birth to the world’s first Scooby Doo baby, tho! In any event, much love and much congrats goes out to the happy couple on their exciting news! Let the bump watch begin!!
