The Cast Of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Report For Duty
Hold on to your fangs, y’all! Well, OK, not your fangs ‘cuz Twilight vampires don’t have silly fangs but … hold on to something. Spoiler TV has posted over 100 photos of the cast of The Twilight Saga: New Moon backstage on the Vacouver, Canada set of their new movie:
In order to not risk spoiling anything for anyone (and thereby avoiding the wrath of any rabid Twilighters), I’m putting the pics I’ve selected to feature behind the cut. After the jump, check out a whole slew of photos of the Twilight gang hangin’ out backstage on set — some are in costume, some are in wigs and some are smokin’ up a storm …

Ah yes, lots of white face powder. And look, Taylor Lautner is rockin’ his Native American wig like a good little reservation kid. Here is another batch of photos where everyone is on a smoke break … well, almost everyone:
Good for Taylor to resist the urge to smoke up like some of his castmates. It’s such a dirty habit, I hope he continues to resist the urge to join in with the “cool kids”. Risking lung cancer does not make you cool … just say no, Taylor … you keep crossing those arms and scowling. I have to say, it’s kinda cool seeing the gang all together again. I guess we now know that filming has truly gotten underway. I suspect we’ll see more of the cast from the set and on the streets of Vancouver in the coming months. The New Moon phase has officially begun.

It breaks my heart how when the first book came out, I bought it and was in love with it instantly, now all these kids are going nuts and jumping on the bandwagon. whatever though, if it gets kids to read the books before the movie i guess it’s helping.

I’m with Shelby, I was really hoping that wig would go away. It looks so very fake and awful. Also, I’m guessing your comment about seeing the movies is sarcastic (can’t always tell on blogs) and I completely agree. All three of those series (Twilight, HP and LotR) must be read in order to really appreciate the movies, in my humble opinion. But I love to read, so I guess I’m biased.

I disagree, I think movies encourage people to read the books, beause everyone knows important details are left out. I had several friends start Harry Potter/Twilight after watching the movies.

I think that if people who haven’t read the books saw the first movie and loved it, all the more reason why they will read all the books. I didn’t know about the books until the movie came out – yes, I must have been living in a bubble. I didn’t get a chance to see the movie but I finally read the first book and then the next 3 – all in about 5 days (yes, I am a huge dork). So, there ya go! I did finally see the movie online (bad me, I know). Not as good as the book but still good! Can’t wait for the next ones!

Fangirls are everywhere in Vancouver staking out the hotel where Kristen is staying……. it is very amusing. 10-15 teenagers trying to look inconspicuous while loitering out the front of one of the fancier hotels in the city…….Thankfully Rob’s location has not been discovered yet…… the operative word being yet.

Smoking helps reduce stress, so I understand why most of the cast smokes. As long as they aren’t smoking near children, or trying to get the younger cast members to smoke then I see no problem with them smoking.
Hopefully the children that look up to these people have enough brains not to follow everthing they do like sheep.

smoking actually increases stress – check out the studies. People use “stress relief” as an excuse, but internally it constricts the arteries and does all sort of stress increasing crap to your body … Im putting my money on the idea that we have little meal skippers on set and smokeing is definately an appetite suppressant.

It does do that, but it also DOES give some release to stress. They sent them over to those in the war to keep them sane and help them not be so stressed. I’m not saying that smoking is good for your body, I dislike smoking. But sometimes it does help people.

Dina- there are plenty of ways too stay hin WITHOUT smoking. eat healthy (but i guess they dont care about their health if they smoke) exercise. so smoking isnt their only option. and i am gonna have to deny it, rob pattz doenst do a thing for me with a ciggy in his mouth. sorry. but hey if these guys wanna seriously reduce their life span go for it!! im just excited about the movie coming out! i loved the books and cant wait to see them on the silver screen smoke free!

that wig is absolutely horrible! it makes Britney’s wigs/extensions look pantente pro-v commercial worthy! YUCK. Edward’s hair isn’t even long enough, yet. Smoking doesn’t relieve stress. Nicotine withdrawal causes stress; smoking feeds the addiction which then feels calming. It’s a shame people start smoking thinking it makes them look “hotter” or helps keep weight off. Back in the day, cigarette companies paid actors to smoke and for product placement in movies so the masses would buy its addictive cancer sticks and make the tobacco companies rich.

I guess I am a minority when it comes to reading the book before the movie now a days. I refuse to see a movie before reading the book first. Most of the time, I’ve already read the book long before the thought of a movie was even brought up.
Anyway, this makes me so ridiculously happy. I can’t wait until it comes out. Jasper is slowly growing on me as time goes on, but Emmett is still my favorite. That picture of Jackson Rathbone is absolutely adorable, though.
By the way, Trent, I went to the dollar show in Allen Park last weekend to see Twilight for what seemed like the hundredth time. lol

I was like “holy bat balls!” that just about everyone smoked, I knew Kris and Rob did.. haha That must be one smelly set. Rob is still beautiful though :] I liked him before Twilight and I got into the series after HEARING of the movie.. but I didnt watch the movie til after I was done the book. I’ve continued.. Im on Breaking Dawn.. I cant wait to see how they do the other films.. I think I picked at Twilight(the movie) alot on what they messed up and what was okay..
