Last December, we learned that an altercation of some sort took place during the taping of the reunion special for Rock of Love: Charm School that pitted host Sharon Osbourne against contestant Megan Hauserman. At the time, Megan alleged that Sharon grabbed her by the hair and pulled & scratched her … she even showed off her scalped weave as proof. In January, VH1 aired the reunion special and showed the altercation (tho, heavily edited) which also included Sharon dumping a drink all over Hauserman … before she proceeded to seemingly whip the poor unsuspecting girl’s ass. As a result of this incident, Megan Hauserman has just filed a civil lawsuit against Sharon Osbourne and is asking that a jury be allowed to determine her damages:
Sharon Osbourne has been sued by the woman she attacked on her VH1 reality show, “Rock of Love: Charm School.” Megan Hauserman claims Sharon went ballistic during a taping, punching and grabbing her by the hair and refusing to let go, and scratching her to boot. Osbourne opened the can of whoop ass after Megan told Sharon she was famous only because she managed a brain dead rock star. In a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Hauserman is suing Osbourne for battery, negligence and infliction of emotional distress.

Judging by what was shown when VH1 aired the ep, it would seem that Hauserman doesn’t have a case … but I suspect that the ep was heavily edited and depending on what was actually recorded, she might have a case. Whether she instigated the conflict or not, I don’t know that Sharon can argue that she was justified in physically laying her hands on any contestant. I believe that all parties on these sort of reality TV shows sign contracts that bar them from assaulting one another. My guess is that a financial settlement deal will be struck before this case goes before a jury. Methinks Sharon will be paying out a pretty penny to make this incident go away … which means, in the end, Megan will be the one with the last laugh. Don’t you just love jurisprudence?

if any one who says “go megan” actually watched the shows megan has particpated in you would see what a fake bimbo slut she really is. she tries to manipulate everyone around her and every who has ever heard her speak knows she has nothing going for her but the body she has to try to manipulate men to do what they want. granted she is a really talented liar and drama queen but that is all gonna come back at her and i’m glad sharon gave her a little taste of what’s coming. there is a reason sharon hosted that show. she is a hard working respectable women who balanced a career, a difficult family life at times, and her own well being. megan could have learned from her if she wanted to but all she wanted to be get on tv and try to get free money. sharon is a great women and megan is a horrible creature. watching that fight was like watching the apocalyptic battle of good verses evil and i was happy as hell that sharon sent that demon women to the hospital. even if megan gets money from sharon, i don’t sharon could care less about it.
