I found as an older adult that by the time I got to the four book (Breaking Dawn) I found myself in a depression which took me 2 weeks to overcome. But I found the books to be fun reading. But, having watched it a second time, it's not that bad actually. If they just took out the cheesy music, it would actually be passable. The VFX didn't even look as bad as I remembered...
