Mayerston Dunzo … Again?
Hold the phone … waitaminute … what? E! News‘ Marc Malkin is reporting that he is hearing that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may have broken up again! As you may recall, Mayerston decided to call it quits back in August after a couple months of canoodling … but then they got back together right around John’s birthday. Since then, the couple have been going pretty steady … all thru her new movie promotion and up until the very high profile Academy Awards. But, if Malkin’s sources are to be believed … the couple’s on again off again relationship may be off again:
Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer may have called it quits. That’s the rumor I’m hearing. A source says that the pair’s on-again, off-again relationship may have ended when Aniston returned from overseas, where she was promoting Marley & Me. She returned sometime within the last week. “He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour,” the source said. Aniston’s rep did not immediately comment. Mayer’s rep declined to comment on the singer’s personal life. And what are their friends saying? One pal warns that we shouldn’t be quick to assume the two are through for good. As we know, this wouldn’t be the first time they’ve gone their separate ways. Aniston recently opened up about love and romance to the U.K. magazine You. “Who ever said that every relationship has to last forever? That’s hoping too much,” said Aniston, who turned 40 exactly a month ago. “I think every relationship is a world unto itself.” As for finding the perfect partner, she said, “I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists.”
HMMM … I can believe it. Malkin goes on to report that Jen is headed for an extended stint in NYC to film a new movie with Jason Bateman while John is staying here in SoCal to work on his next album. It makes sense that the couple might call things off for a while … and either get back into it again in a few months or go their separate ways. I don’t know why but I kinda like the idea of Mayerston together. It’s nice to see Jennifer Aniston smile again like she means it … you could see that when she was with John. I’m not entirely willing to stick a spork into Mayerston for good just yet … but I can believe that they might be on a break. Heh … which is so kinda funny if you think about it (and are a fan of Friends) … unless John has random sex with some chick and then, yeah, you know the rest. What do y’all think … do you think they’re dunzo … and for good?

Well, I coincidentally (?) had a dream last night about being nekkid on a boat with JM. He was playing guitar like it was a violin, bow and all (no more guacamole before bedtime!). So maybe he’s planning to stop by my house for a little extended session of Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.

You know, everybody is quick to blame the man for not being able to commit but I have my doubts about Jennifer. I just remember this interview she did where she talked about her marriage to Brad Pitt and had this attitude like, “Well, we’ll just see how it goes.” Being married myself I can tell you that if you go into a marriage saying, “We’ll just see how it goes” it probably is not going to last!

I never thought this was a boyfriend-girl relationship to begin with either, but if it was, how would any guy feel when the woman he’s allegedly dating keeps talking about her ex husband and how she’ll love him for the rest of her life? I don’t know any guys who would stick around knowing the person is in love with someone else. Mayer has no dignity at all or he needs money real bad.

I hope this is not true. I love them together. They seem so fun and easy going with each other. I had hoped for a long stint of happy love bliss for Jen and John. Maybe it’s just a minor hiccup they can overcome.

Eh, they look kinda weird together to me. He’s kinda cool and all but he looks like such a kid in the Oscar pictures. She doesn’t seem too bright to me so I always picture her with someone more mature or at least older.

i think it completely depends on how you read the comment, trent. i read the entire article and they way she actually says it is like she’s not claiming she has the perfect partner and that every relationship has its own meaning, for however long it lasts. because having the perfect partner, you begin to expect too much from them.

He is too young for her. A ten year difference. Not saying that it can’t work, but I think John still has a lot of growing up to do. He has time to settle down and have kids, where Jen is probably way closer to that point then he is.

I think that they both need to grow up. I can see John’s excuse b/c like others have said, he’s still young. But Jen seems immature too in some way by how she acts and dresses sometimes. She still has that 20 year old mentality about her even though she’s 40. I remember watching her on The View a few weeks ago, and when someone said that she was about to turn 40 in a few days, she looked like a dear in headlights. As if it was such a bad thing. lol She needs someone who’s more mature then she is in order for her to become comfortable in her own skin. Two immature people in a relationship really doesn’t work IMO.

Thanks Trent for the FRIENDS reference (WE WERE ON A BREAKKKK) the minute I saw it that line flew straight into my head… in all seriousness though it’s a little sad if they are off again seeing as how they finally started looking all happy and content for once… but you know she seems pretty cool and confident and I saw that whole interview and maybe she’s just hit the point in her life where there is no use caring or getting upset when this stuff happens. And Jason Bateman?! Helloo I LOVE HIM!! I will seriously go see any movie with him… maybe he’s single and he can help her get over John?

Some Celebrities are so fake. Just 3 weeks ago, they were all over each other, kissing in front of the paps, and now this. Im so over it already. Maybe they’re both too imature to be in a relationship.

Dude, I bet they are pulling a fast one on us again, just like they did last time when they broke up for a couple months. Seems like they want to throw us off the scent! Maybe they’re getting married? Either way, it doesn’t really matter because everyone knows its only a matter of time before they divorce and start dating the next big thing! Celebrities be crazy, yo!

I don’t know how true this is, two/three weeks ago she was here in fairfield, ct at his parents house (i live a couple houses down). maybe this is misdirection, so they can have their privacy or so they can maybe pull off something more serious (like a secret wedding)
