I'm also very confused as to why individuals from Malawi would not want this little girl to get out of the poverty and struggling that this little girl would face without Madonna adopting her. Look at how well David Banda looks. The only thing I can think of is selfishness that some people just can't be happy for others... I don't know. It just baffles me. About David and Mercy, I can't help but wonder if they or their families have been affected by HIV and AIDS. I sure hope they are healthy little kids. Where are these caring family members, and why haven't they taken her in? If they're not going to take her (or can't for whatever reason) then being adopted gives her a chance to have even more family to love.
