‘Lipsync For Your LIFE!’
So, after a few weeks of hearing how amazing the new show RuPaul’s Drag Race is I figured it was time that I saw for myself what all the hoopla was about. I started recording the series in reruns over the past week and finally got around to watching the show … and OMG, is it awesome!

I pretty much love everything about the whole show. It’s like Project Runway meets America’s Next Top Model meets Make Me a Supermodel all rolled into one fabulously DIVA package. I just love RuPaul and I love that she is back on the scene with this fab show. I have to give it up to all the drag queens on the show … they all are amazing. Even on their worst days they look utterly amazing. I don’t even think I have any favorites, I really do enjoy them all. The saying goes that It takes a real man to walk a mile in a woman’s shoes and I think I might have to agree with that sentiment :) I’m so glad I finally got on board with this fab show … it’s really fun, you should deffo check it out. The show can be streamed online at LogoOnline.com in case you’ve missed the eps like I did.
In other news, our massively HUGE bed just arrived. The deliverymen were in and out in about 15 mins. total. The bed is so big … we’re thrilled :)
Lots of errands today … we need bedding for our big bed, any ideas on where to go? I’m afraid I have no idea. OY!

I love this damn show!! My friends and I live for the phrases: “Lipsynch for you life” and “Don’t f*ck it up”. Great mindless entertainment and gives me a smidge PROJECT RUNWAY fix. A smidge.

Oh my god, that show is THE BEST! I got really sad about Ongina, but I’m hoping my girl Nina Flowers takes the whole thing. Or Bebe. I just hope it gets renewed, it’s so wonderful!

It’s a hit or miss, but Tuesday Mornings is one of the best places to find bedding. They get all the stuff from the major department stores that didn’t sell. I picked up a queen size 1000 thread count sheets for $99. There is one in Santa Monica and Culver City. Check out their website

Rebecca Glasscock came out to Boston last Thursday and she was such a sweetheart. Vids are on youtube.com/diamonddunhill
March 11th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
umm..Pottery Barn has the best everything.
March 11th, 2009 at 3:55 pm
@Jamie- Those photos are really striking.

I would try to round up a 20% off coupon and go to Bed Bath and Beyond. I get coupons from them every week I think. The good ones are for the entire order, but they are harder to come by. You can usually get a Bed in a Bag for reasonable price if you like all the extra stuff.

Trent you may have to turn in your blogging card! How could you be late to this fantastic show?? :)
March 11th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
I love this show. Its my favorite new show on TV right now. It makes me realize what a sh*tty job im doing on my makeup.
March 11th, 2009 at 9:49 pm
I really don’t agree that Pottery Barn has the best everything. They might have best overpriced crap, but that’s about it.
Those Detroit photographs are stunning. Photographers always stage at least some of what the lens is pointed at so I really wonder how much of the details are authentic in the pics, they way they found them, etc. That gothic theatre looks amazing! I hope they also choose to run an opposite pictorial showing the upside of the city – it seems only fair…
Ru Paul rules, it is such a great show, I’ve been loving it madly.
Hope you found some gorgeous bedding. You…Better…Sleep, bitch!
March 11th, 2009 at 11:23 pm
Frette or Telerie Toscane can make yummy sheets. Check eBay.

LOVE RuPaul’s Drag Race! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Those Ladies are Working Hard! Of the three left I am rooting for Nina Flowers, she looks amazing, she has shown a range of looks beyond her signature look and most importantly she is kind and supportive.
Please post more Drag Race updates as the show finishes up!
Good luck finding bedding. You and David need to be comfy and cozy.

Drag Race is THE GREATEST SHOW EVER!!!! I don’t know why RuPaul doesn’t have his own channel. He is so incredibly funny, especially when he is doing his Tim Gunn thing. Extravaganza Eleganza! I wish Ongina could have stayed until the end– she was the cutest thing ever (”This is Connie Chung”) but as long as my adorable Nina Flowers wins I’ll be happy! I couldn’t stand Shannel (”I should have won that challenge! Tell me I’m beautiful while I juggle bowling pins and wiggle my naked booty! f I can’t win I won’t play, boo hoo”) but I gotta give the bitch credit she can do makeup like nobody else– I want her to make me over!
