So … okay … I kinda debated showing this photo to all y’all cuz it really wasn’t meant for public consumption … but after mulling it over after an amazing night of sleep on our massive new bed, I figured … eh, why not. So yesterday I mentioned that our new bed was delivered and assembled and I’ve gotten a few requests for a photo. In order to show the proportions, I got on the bed for a quick pic to send to friends … and, now, all y’all. Here is what our new bed looks like:

LOL! OMG, so funny, right? The bed looks so massive but, fortunately, it does not overtake the room. This pic doesn’t show the way the bed sits in our room, it just shows how crazy big it is :) David and I said all along that we wanted a big California King and that’s exactly what we got … a bed we have to climb into. We spent yesterday afternoon shopping for bedding (which we found) and various other things for the bedroom. After, I met up with Amber Benson so that she could autograph the book prizes for the latest PITNB contest. We shared a piece of pie and some tea at Urth Caffee on Melrose and had a great time talking about stuff. We decided to come up with a fun little project together … which I’ll mention soon :)

This afternoon I have a biz meeting and then David and I have a lot of cleaning to do before his friend Kurt arrives tomorrow night. The weekend looks to be a fun one but I’m gonna try and lay low … I have a bunch of stuff to take care of before I take off for SXSW in Austin, TX next week and I want to make sure I’m ready to go.
