Jennifer Aniston is featured on the cover and in the pages of the April issue of British Elle magazine which, the magazine contends, is her first UK interview in over 2 years. Of course British Elle magazine asks her the expected questions about her ex-husband Brad Pitt but, unsurprisingly, she offers no new information to the magazine … in fact, she flat out refuses to offer any information at all … at least on the Brad Pitt front. Here is Jen‘s coverphoto for the UK mag and a portion of her coverstory interview:
ELLE’s Avril Mair speaks exclusively to Jennifer Aniston about everything from her body to Brad. “No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won’t let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over. I don’t owe anybody anything. I don’t owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It’s just not the case.” Jennifer Aniston finally sets the record straight. She’s moved on, and is happier than ever. “I remind myself every day that I am lucky. Look what’s out there. Look what people are really living through. There’s no comparison. I am happy” reveals the actress who turned forty last month, but looks a decade younger with the help of Neutrogena soap, regular facials and an obsession with applying sunscreen. “I’m a realist,” she says. “I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I’m not going to be hired for the parts I normally would. That might be fine one day, but not right now.” And right now she playing the lead opposite Owen Wilson in Marley and Me, a film that has already proved a smash hit in the U.S. Though romantic comedies are her bread and butter Jennifer tells ELLE she’s love to get more physical in a film, “I get offered funny, quirky, pretty roles,” she says, with a slight roll of the eyes. “I’d love to do an action movie. James Bond! Glamour! Daniel Craig! Shit-loads of fun!” With her bikini body, surely its only a matter of time.
Hahahaha! I love how disinterested she looks on the cover … you can really tell that she wanted to do this interview. I mean, I guess I don’t blame her for clamming up about her ex-husband. It must be terribly frustrating to constantly be tied to your ex-husband and his new family. At least she could pretend that she cares tho. I guess what I don’t understand is how a person can continue to court the public’s favor in order to promote a new project but in the process of the promoting look as if you’d rather be somewhere else … or, even worse, get pissed off when public actually pays attention to your every move. Celebs can be so funny sometimes. In any event, this issue of Elle magazine goes on sale in the UK on Wednesday. Interested Brits lookin’ to read more pearls of wisdom from Ms. Aniston might want to take note. I, for one, think I’ve heard enough.

This is ridiculous! She either says something and people jump all over her for keeping the love triangle alive or she doesn’t and you think she’s not interested! And you can tell this from a look she’s giving in her photo?
And I find it funny that a lot of other sites are criticizing her for talking about it again.
Either way, she’s damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

I think they all need to sit down together over lunch somewhere relatively public…a little fuel to the fire that says we are OK with life wont hurt a soul.
I don’t think she should have to expect that promoting for her new movie should require her to spill non-news on her ex-husband for the millionth time. I think it’s safe to say they have both shared all they will ever share and that’s more than they ever had to in the first place. I wouldn’t even call what she did ‘clamming’ up…I think she literally has nothing more to say on the subject.

She’s quite pretty but she’s a horrible actress. Every movie she played different role but always the same act, always the rachel green. It gets old.
I think she handled that question perfectly, considering that she has probably been asked it thousands of times by now. Seriously. I don’t think that she is getting “pissed off that the public is paying attention to her every move” just because she doesn’t want to talk about Brad anymore. Seriously! It’s done, it’s over, she’s moved on, she’s doing great. What do you expect of her?!

Who would want to talk about their ex and the new family over and over again? She didn’t say anything for the longest time, and then she did one interview to answer all those questions, and people still can’t let it go.

I think shes just posing, I dont think shes actually bored.
And I would get frustrated too-for so long she said nothing and people were pissed, and when recently made a joke about it people told her she needed to “let it go.” I think shes actually very happy, and being seen as this poor woman left by her husband for angie must be so annoying.

honestly ppl will always bash her and portray her as wanting attention and not being able to put things behind. but for freaks sake – she’s a movie star out there to promote her movies , that’s why she’s on all these magazines such as vanity fair of which she probably got sick of all the questions and just decided to answer some questions which she probably didn’t think was too big a deal. she probably thought it was ok to be considerate and easy to work with for the magazine, only to have it on the front cover. do you think she sits there asking for ppl to dig up her past relationships? put ur self in her shoes, why on earth would ppl wanna talk about something like that? I don’t know anyone who would want all the attention on a divorce to be rehashed again and again. i’m so sick of ppl talking badly of her.
