Jenna Jameson Gives Birth To Twin Boys
Congratulations are in order for porn star extraordinaire Jenna Jameson and her former Ultimate Fighting champ babydaddy Tito Ortiz today … US Weekly is reporting that Jenna gave birth to the couple’s twin boys earlier this morning … at this point, no names have been released:
Adult film star Jenna Jameson and her boyfriend of two years, Tito Ortiz, welcomed twin boys Monday morning, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com. “They’re in very good health,” her rep tells Us. “She’s been taking it easy and even had to be in a wheelchair during one of Tito’s events in Las Vegas,” a source told Us when Jameson was just shy of eight months pregnant. “She’s very excited to be a mom.” Back in May, Jameson told Us, “We’re trying for a baby, so hopefully in the next couple of months!” By the end of August, she confirmed her pregnancy to Us exclusively, saying, “I’m so happy!” Upon finding out she was pregnant, Jameson, 34, admitted that she and Ortiz, a mixed martial arts fighter, were in a state of shock. “I’m just staying super healthy,” she said. “I’ve moved down to the beach with Tito — I love being by the beach.” Being able to give birth to two healthy babies is joyful for Jameson, a self-proclaimed devout Catholic.
Dang, doesn’t it seem like it’s become the norm for celebs to be giving birth to twin babies? Doesn’t anyone ever have single babies anymore? HMMM … guess not. In any event, much love and congrats goes out to Jenna and Tito on the birth of their baby boys. After Jenna suffered her miscarriage back in 2004 after she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, I’m sure she dreamed for the day she would be able to give birth to healthy babies. I wish her nothing but love and happiness … and a long life with her baby boys. Congrats!!

Trent–it’s probably IVF with all those multiple pregnancies. Many of those celebs are having babies late and it’s not easy to get pregnant with many of the women being as skinny as they are.

I think twins are becoming more common, I have 3 cousins who have twins and none of them were on fertility drugs or anything. Maybe its like how people are a foot taller than their grandparents, better nutrition and horomones in the food?
Btw, she’s a devout Catholic? An un-married mother of two who lives with a man and formerly did porn? I went to Church at Christmas, does that mean I’m a saint? hehe

My dad was a triplet, and my mom was a (fraternal) twin. I’ll probably be a natural octomom. 8-O
I find it interesting that she’s a porn star, and she had babies ouf of wedlock, yet she’s allegedly a devout Catholic. Things loosened up after Vatican II, but not *that* much.

Although I am happy for her and all, I kind of have a problem with Jenna claiming to be a DEVOUT CATHOLIC and yet she is an unmarried, ex-porn star that owns several strip clubs in AZ and yet she just gave birth to twins out of wedlock…I mean, I say live and let live– but don’t proclaim your religion over and over again and then go against all of those beliefs that Roman Catholics supposedly hold dear to them…just my opinion….

I, for one, am happy for her. Parenthood is a privilege, and it seems like something she has wanted for a very long time, since her heartbreaking miscarriage a few years ago.
As a side note…my, my there are a few judgy judgy peeps on this site, non? And Kelly, man, I’m not a Catholic, but last time I attended church I’m pretty sure there was something about judge not lest ye be judged? Taking the log out of your own eye before removing the spec from someone else’s, or some such bizz?

You can thank IVF for that trend. My friend just had twins by IVF (they’d been trying for years and just couldn’t get pregnant), and said that if you see a celeb mom over 30 who somehow gives birth to twins? It’s IVF.

It may or may not be IVF. I believe that she had some sort of fertility help, being Clomid (known for creating multiples), or IVF. I find it interesting that she had to say that she was a devout Catholic, because IVF is a No No under the eyes of the Pope.

First off, poor kids when they get in their teenage years. Secondly, twins are genetically inclined on the maternal side. However, it does seem ironic for so many celebs to be having them all around the same time. :P Thirdly, there seems to be no judging going on, rather more like fact stating about the contradictory nature of Ms. Jameson’s actions that oppose her claims of being *devout* Catholic. Honestly, even being casually Catholic is still stretching it here (in more ways than one).

I feel sorry for those kids when they get older, especially during their teenage years, when kids are teasing them about thier mother being fucked by an entire army. Hopefully, they’ll end up killing the bitch for casting such a shadow of sickness and shame over their lives.

I think if I had been a VERY well-known pornstar for most of my life, I wouldn’t want to have kids… I can’t imagine what it would be like to find out that my mom had fucked a billlion people – ON FILM.. and that she was basically a professional slut…. I mean, I don’t want to say that she shouldn’t be allowed to procreate – but it seems like after choosing such a career path, that you’d have some apprehension about bringing children into the world, to find out such raunchy info about their mom – and it’s not even like the kids can hide from it – almost EVERYONE has seen their mom in sex acts… and if they haven’t, they’ve at least heard about her. I feel sorry for those lil boys. Maybe it will be ‘natural’ to them though, since they won’t know any difference…

Definitely has to do with all the IVF. Most women who opt for IVF treatment tend to have more than one viable embryo inserted at a time, resulting in multiples (twins, triplets, etc). The best way to tell if it’s IVF is whether or not the twins are identical (natural methods) or fraternal (frequently IVF). IVF is super popular in Hollywood with the older crowd (30+). Because fertility wanes as you age, many actresses of a certain age resort to IVF as a way to get pregnant.
