Jake Gyllenhaal Unsuccessfully Hides From The Paparazzi
Yesterday we saw photos of Jake Gyllenhaal proudly showing off his arms after a hot afternoon workout here in SoCal. It would seem that since those photos were taken, Jakey poo has had a change of heart in the showing off department. Here are a couple photos of Jake making his way out of a local grocer trying to unsuccessfully become invisible behind his shopping bag full of groceries:
So silly. I don’t understand the thought process behind the notion that someone who wishes to not be photographed decides to hide behind a bag or under a sheet to dissuade photographs … but really result in even more ridiculous photos of the person than if they hadn’t even bothered to hide in the first place. To his credit, Jakey did opt for paper over plastic … so at least he’s being environmentally sound as he foolishly tries to evade being photographed.

This is absolutely ridiculous. First, he’s wearing a hat and sunglasses which makes him a little bit unrecognizable. Second, why would anyone go through so much trouble ot hide your face when you can’t even do it properly? It just draws more attention to the paps at the moment and in the future because they know it annoys you. And, not to be mean, but Jake isn’t necessarily SUPER famous like most celebs who end up in tabloids. I’ve barely seen him in any tabloids.

He actually did not choose paper over plastic, as only paper bags are now offered at Whole Foods.

Listen Trent, I have a gorgeous sister that doesn’t want anything to do with pictures; I hardly ever get to photograph her. It is ridic because she is super cute but she doesn’t like it, so every time I act all distracted and suddenly turn her way with my camera, first thing she does is put her arm in front of her face, her hand or look the other way. Of course I keep telling her that it is stupid and that the picture looks like sh** with her hand covering her face or trying to cover up; but it is like a reflex, she does it every time. So, I’m sure Jake knows the pic is going to look like sh** if he is trying to cover up his face but I bet it is just a reflex of his dessire to not have his picture taken. I can understand it, I avoid flashes as much as my sis hahahaha.

Some celebs hate to be photographed. They get tired of being followed by the paps, and dont agree with some of the things they do to get a picture. Thats why they hide their faces. Its kind of sad. Its legalized stalking.

I think they do it so that the paps dont get a “great” shot of them to sell.. instead they have silly looking ones!

I agree that it’s silly. But, he’s not being “green” by getting a paper bag–they are 100% as bad as plastic bags. If he was really green he’d be carrying his groceries in reusable bags.

It really makes me despair when Jake pulls antics like this,when we know he’s eager enough to get spurious and dishonest publicity from tame paps when his “girlfriend”’s PR bods line up a photo-opportunity.
When they want to publicise their fauxmance, such as when she has a film about to bomb or just hasn’t had her smug,spoilt mug all over the press for a while, the Paps suddenly get inside info as to where they’ll be. Jake, let your talent do the talking, stop this fame-whoring with RW and then we won’t have to be subjected to these ludicrous,hypocritical images!
