How’s this to brighten up your Saturday afternoon … two new promo images from the big screen adaptation of the video game title Prince of Persia have made their way to the Internets. As some of you may know, Jake Gyllenhaal will play Prince Dastan in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time … here is our first look at one of two new promo images from the film:

I don’t care if the movie is 2 hours of Jake standing around with his shirt off, in fact, I sincerely hope it’s 2 hours of Jake standing around with his shirt off … the filmmakers can absolutely count on my $12 when this movie opens in theaters. while Jake G is a really cool guy and actor, I am really disappointed they chose him for this movie. This game is amazing and I don’t believe him as Prince..
